Welcome to Nampa Newfies!!

We have a lot of new faces joining so we wanted to introduce ourselves.

We are a big, Idaho family that has been breeding and selling AKC registered Newfoundland puppies for over twenty years!

It all started when Sonya Washburn, (mom of our clan, founder and Newfie expert) had her first litters with our dog Molly. Over twenty years, all three Washburn daughters have gotten involved in the family business and sell puppies now from Boise ID, Tri-Cities WA (Shawnee) and Salt lake City, UT (Cheyenne). *We can also transport puppies anywhere in the US if needed!*

We use this page to teach people about the Newfie breed, share tips and tricks for dog ownership and of course, connect with future Newfie-families.

Follow along for adorable, educational content and to see if a Newfoundland is a good fit for you!

Hi there! Nampa Newfies is a small family owned business where we've been breeding and raising quality Newfoundland puppies for the last 20+ years in Treasure Valley Idaho.

We use the expertise we've accumulated over those decades to provide the best quality pets we can for your family (and Newfies TRULY become part of the family!) Many of our dogs also go on to be therapy dogs, service dogs, emotional support animals, water rescue dogs and show competitors.

We use this page to keep customers up to date on upcoming litters but we also want to share dog wisdom we've gained to help people make the best decisions for them and their pets. We share fun facts and information about the Newfie breed and tips and tricks on puppy ownership, training, grooming and lifestyle.

Because they are so big it is easy to treat them like an adult dog because size wise they look it. But it is important to remember that they are still a puppy.
