Great weather with great friends! A little muggy so we went in and out a couple of times but all in all a really great way to start the week!

🩷How cute is this bonded pair? A big guy and his little buddy!🩷

Meet Kaigo and Okami, a recent surrender that is hoping they can find a family that has room for two!

🩷 Kaigo is a 7 year old golden retriever.
🩷 Okami is a 3.5 year old "cavachon".
🩷 Both have done well with respectful children.
🩷 Kaigo likes dog friends, while Okami is picky about dog friends (though he LOVES Kaigo!).

We are keeping our fingers crossed we can keep these two together, finding a home for bonded dogs isn't always the easiest! Help us by sharing this post!

Oh little Milo.. sweet dreams little man! This is the way he is all day after his day of daycare which was yesterday! His Mama just sent this to me. Those little legs never stop moving and now he needs to rest up for a couple of days until he comes again! So darn cute! 🥰

Athena is the sweetest little snuggler! She is a 3.5 month old American Staffordshire Terrier mix and weighs 20 lbs. She was hand raised by fosters in Alabama with her brother after their mother rejected them.

Athena loves playing, snuggling, sleeping and eating. She is a friendly, curious and confident little girl. She gets along with all the other dogs in the house and wants to be friends with the cat (working on her approach).

Her favorite thing is running around playing with toys and the other dogs in the house.

She sleeps in her kennel at night and will get vocal to let you know she needs to go outside (about halfway through the night). She has been working hard on her potty training and has almost no accidents when kept on a schedule. She is also learning to use the bells on the door to let you know when she needs to go out.

With the hot temperatures, I'm keeping a lookout for blue-green algae blooms in our ponds. Our dogs swim and walk tummy-deep in the ponds, occasionally drinking the water. I've learned what steps to take to keep our ponds safe for our dogs and local wildlife.

Symptoms of Blue-Green Algae Sickness in Dogs

** Vomiting
** Diarrhea
** Blood in stool or black, tarry stool
** Pale mucous membranes
** Jaundice
** Seizures
** Disorientation
** Coma

Hot and muggy today for our outside play time so we went in and out several times just to take a break from the muggy Heat. I didn't have to ask any of them twice to leave the yards and go back inside!🌞

Our Wee Pack did not get muddy yard time today but thoroughly enjoyed lots of time in the family yard. That's a big space to run and play for such little Fluffy's!

All nice and clean and running and playing in the warm sunshine in the family yard to get dried off. Forever grateful for this big yard that's built on a hill.. no standing water!
