Hi and welcome to my fur filled page. My name is Tara and I am the husky mamma. This page is dedicated to my rescued Siberian Huskys. I am a stay at home mother of 3 beautiful children, 1 handsome husband Jason and together we rescue huskys. Right now we have 7. They are all named after Pink Floyd songs as tribute to our original husky mix Floyd, god rest his puppy soul. So our oldest husky is Pin
k, she is 8 years old. I found her at Brookhaven animal shelter in October 2008, she was 8 months old and in heat. Needless to say Floyd loved her. She was beautiful sweet and an absolute love. she is a beautiful silver gray and white husky with stunning blue eyes. she loves to sing and eat cookies, and get her butt rubbed daily. Her nick name is woo, because she woo's at me daily. She is the biggest female I have, her butts a little big from all the cookies, but we don't judge her for that haha
Next up is Shine On, he is 5 years old now. He was found by my sister in North Carolina. he was a craigslist puppy. he was 15 weeks old, and very sick. he had Parvo, and 3 kinds of worms. I drove through the night to meet him and he spent the first few days as my puppy in a hospital for treatment. Shine on is a beautiful reddish,orange and white husky with crystal blue eyes. He loves rides in the car, meeting new people and sings for me when I'm looking for the rest of the Pack. Then we have Free Four. He is 4 years old. He was born at the Huntington Animal shelter on new years Eve 2011. His mother came in as a stray. He was 6 weeks old when he came here and his paws were huge. Free Four is my biggest husky. he is a bit of a bully but a bully full of love. He is black and white has a huge head and great big blue eyes. He loves belly rubbing cookies and biting the other dogs for playing too much :p You'll almost always find him hanging out with my kids looking for food and belly rubbing. He is also one of the best pullers I have he is all Torque. His nick name is Free Florence. Next up is Vera Lynn, she is a beautiful gray and white husky with blue eyes. She is tiny and very fast. Vera Lynn was a craigslist husky and we got her through SHARP rescue (I am a volunteer) She was about 1 years old when we got her. I was my birthday and her transition was smooth. Free four and Vera fell in love at first sight. Vera Lynn is a lover. She wiggles her butt and has kisses for anyone and everyone who comes over. You'll often find her passed out on my bed or digging for moles in the yard. She loves belly rubbing and long walks. As long as she is in the lead. She is my escape artist so we always have to keep an eye on her. Next up is Eclipse, she is a 3 year old black and white female. She has 1 blue eye, 1 half blue half brown eye. She was given to me by my friend after she was poisoned by her original owner at only 4 weeks old. They fed her a half a cup of vodka and then wanted to put her down. Luckily Angela saved her and begged me to take her. (she didn't have to beg too hard lol) Free Four immediately adopted her as his daughter. it was adorable. Eclipse is a small girl too. She adores the kids and loves to hunt for anything in the back yard. She loves car rides and stuffed animals and will often be found sleeping in my daughters room. Her nick name is Little Puppy. Next is Hey You. He is a black and white with big blue eyes and a lot of pudge. He is such a love. He was found on the side of the road at 5 months old. He was skinny and scared but full of love. I adopted him though SHARP rescue, I was supposed to just foster him but we all fell in love so fast. He follows me all around. he loves belly rubbs playing with the other dogs, and of course cookies. His nick name is Fatty Fat fat a-kins. Last but certainly not least is Fearless. She is a 9 week old husky puppy. She is black and white with big blue eyes. She is a Tripod. She is an absolute doll. She has so much life in her little body. Eclipse and Hey You adopted her and they play all the time. Its amazing to see. Fearless is so smart and respectful to the other dogs. We all adore her. On this page you will see us all on our adventures through life. I will post photos and videos. I am a bit silly so you will hear me narrating in the back ground. I cant help it the dogs talk through me lol. I will give advice if its asked for or sometimes just because. Siberian Huskys are such a wonderful breed. I hope you enjoy our journey together.
