Shout out to our perennial Galleria Meet & Greet hounds - Bullet, Myrna, and Jarita - and two special guest hounds - Iggy and Hunter - and their humans - for a great time at the mall today! Spreading lots of greyhound cheer on a cold day! A ‘greyt’ way to start 2025 - we are there every fourth Saturday of the month from 11 am - 2 pm on the lower level near Macy’s. Happy New Year, everyone!

Thank you to Myrna, Jarita, and Bullet - the Galleria Superstars - and their humans - who came out last Saturday and brought holiday cheer to many shoppers, just like they do every month!! Remember, we will not have a Meet & Greet this Saturday but will resume our monthly appearance on Saturday January 25th. Happy Holidays from BGA and we’ll see you “next year”! 🎄🎅🕎🐾

Are you a voting member of Buffalo Greyhound Adoption?

Buffalo Greyhound Adoption (BGA) is a registered New York Not-for-Profit Corporation that is managed by its Members under its charter. While day-to-day decisions are made by BGA's officers, committee chairs, and Board of Directors, certain important rights and key decisions are reserved exclusively for BGA's Members. These rights include electing the Board of Directors who, in turn, select the officers and committee chairs. Additionally, any changes to BGA's corporate documents or mission require Member approval.

Members are invited to attend and vote at the Annual Meeting and to obtain financial reports. Directors, officers and committee chairs are generally selected from the Membership. Members may also be asked to vote on significant decisions between annual meetings. While meeting attendance is not mandatory, Members who cannot attend may submit their ballots electronically or by mail.

The 2024-2025 Annual Meeting will be held on January 23. Anyone who becomes a Member on or before November 30, 2024, will be eligible to vote and attend the meeting.

What a beautiful autumn day to meet up and walk with a gaggle of greyhounds… plus one Galgo, one Windsprite, and one Saluki!! 😃🐕 Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful, colorful, sunny walk!! Hope everyone gets a chance to get out and enjoy the day!! 😎

Our final official dog walk of the 2024 season!! Weather permitting! Fingers crossed, it looks like it may rain, let’s hope it holds off for us!!

Drumroll please…. Here are the final statistics from the Great Global Greyhound Walk, held on September 29th at locations all across the globe!! And our BGA group that met up and walked that day in Como Park are counted in these numbers! Thanks to everyone who joined us!
