Hey everyone..
I own Bernard Pizza Company in Ward. We have been working with a rescue called Dirt Road Mutts. DRMR is a foster based non-profit dog rescue that is trying to raise funds to help build an actual facility they are calling the rescue ranch. They have started on the rescue ranch and I have seen it first hand. They are working hard, but there is a long ways to go. Donations are needed for the rescue ranch and to help fund the rescue in general. We don’t have a shelter in the county which means we are overrun with stray dogs that are dumped and left for dead.. we desperately need them to get their rescue ranch done so they can help more dogs and to help take some of the stress off of the ones that run the rescue.
Would any businesses like to donate an item, a gift card, service, discount, or an item to our raffle basket for DRMR?
We are putting a $100 gift card in the raffle.

I will need all items by April 30th. Drop off items at our store, I can see if I can arrange pickup, or I can give you my email if you’d like to send a gift card for me to print off to give the winner.

-We will post about the items donated on all of our social media pages (we have a decent size following), several groups, DRMR page, and we will have signs at our store as well.
-We will have box toppers going out as well.
-We’d love to hang a flyer at the participating businesses. I can email this to you to print and hang or I can drop one off if you’re close by.
-We would love if the flyer we share on Facebook is shared to your business page to increase the chance of donations.

Raffle details:
The raffle will begin on May 1st and it will run until June 1st.

1 entry=$20 or buy 3 entires ($60 must be sent in one transaction) get 2 additional entries for free.

The name on your account will be the name entered into the raffle unless you specify otherwise.
Cash: given to a manager at Bernard Pizza Co. (If you do cash, you’ll be given a raffle ticket. Keep this ticket because if you win we will announce the ticket number instead of your name).

Please bring your dogs in this weekend while it's going to be so cold. If you can't give them heat lamp/fresh straw/ shelter. I have a dog house and straw and a couple of heat lamps if anyone needs!

I am going to be taking some time off from grooming for a while. I have some personal and family issues that need to be taken care of. If you already scheduled with me don't worry. I will take care of your doggos! I'm not sure how long I will be closed just yet but right now I need to take a break.

Just to clarify I am ok. My grandma is not doing well and I am going to take some time to help with her and spend time with her mostly.

If you're in need of a good inexpensive local vet. I recommend Dr Jeff and the crew at Grand Prairie Veterinary Services in Hazen. If you can't make the drive then here's the new one in Beebe. I've taken my dog to her before at dr manns old location and they are great!

I'm going to be on therapy for my knee 3x a week for the next 4 weeks so my grooming during the week is going to be limited for sure.

Due to my recent changes at my day job causing me to work more days a week; and now my knee is bone on bone.. I am going to have to slow down on my grooming. If you are already a client of mine I can still do your dogs more than likely but any new ones I won't be able to get in for a while until I can get some more help or less days off at my other job. If anyone knows someone who would want to care for this blind boy let me know. He doesn't do much but he loves to sleep in your lap. He is responding to my voice and when I snap he comes towards me. I've already got 6 big dogs and he would be perfect for someone who stays at home alot (elderly person, disabled etc) he won't get that big either. ( maybe 25 lbs at the most). He's a terrier mix.
I've been calling him Sandor. If I can't find someone I will keep him myself though. He almost died and we kept him alive so I want him to have the best life he can. He doesn't play or anything just yet. He's just now got to where he eats/drinks on his own without putting a syringe in his mouth. Please share!
