💚Will be bonded to Indy once fixed💚

Hello everyone! It looks like Tophers second ear flopped down today!🥹🩷
Some of you may of seen back in March (on the 16th) we got a text from a mutual person who helps rescues (Austin). He was in contact with a family who found a tiny 3-4 week old baby bunny at a park in Santa Monica. He went to go help the baby but unfortunately was unable to find a rescue to take him. He let us know if no one could take him unfortunately the baby would be going to the shelter. This was right before Easter and we were extremely worried for this baby so we agreed to take him in! A huge thank you to Vanessa & Austin for saving this baby, donating towards his care and getting him to safety here at PNC. We aren’t exactly sure if this baby was dumped or apart of a domestic rabbit colony in the area. But we are so glad he was rescued. We believe Topher is a lop mix bunny. Topher is a very sweet, friendly and spunky boy. He loves to binky (zoomies for rabbits) and will follow you everywhere he goes. He is so silly and will always make you smile! He is such a good rabbit! He will be neutered this month or next month. Once he is neutered and healed we will be bonding him to Indy (another young bunny we took in from a similar situation). They are around the same age! She is also very sweet! We do have their enclosures currently right next to each other and they cuddle up together and are definitely a future husbun and bunwife. Once they are both fixed, they will both be up for adoption as a bonded pair. However they are available for an adoption hold until they are ready to go home. They will be fixed, vaccinated and microchipped before they go home. They can be adopted with or without an entire enclosure setup!

A huge thank you to Vanessa for sponsoring Tophers neuter,
vaccines & microchip!! If you have any questions or are possibly looking to foster or adopt please contact us! Easiest way to reach us is by phone number 951-433-0105 or by Instagram messages 📲

🩷3-4 month old baby girl bun🩷
💚Will be bonded to Topher once fixed💚

Hello everyone, we are so sorry we have lagged on posting this sweet girl. It’s been so busy and hectic here, we apologize! On 5/6/24, we received a text from a guy who found this beautiful girl bun, whom we have named Indy at a park called Don Jones park in Riverside. She was running around and she was clearly dumped. Thankfully her rescuer acted fast and was able to catch her. They were unable to keep her and were trying to find someone to take her so they reached out to us. After we saw her pictures (last 2 pics of this post show her at the park) we saw how similar she looked to Topher, and they looked around the same age so we thought..what the heck😂🙄!! By Indy’s size we believe she’s around 3-4 months old. She was malnourished and skinny when found, but this isn’t surprising due to her situation. Indy is a very sweet girl. She loves to adventure and explore! She is still settling in here at PNC, and spooks easily. We don’t blame her! Poor girl was dumped at a park and left to defend for herself! Humans have clearly not been kind to her, but despite that she’s very sweet and gentle. She comes right up for treats and head pets. After some time in quarantine we put her and Tophers enclosures right next to each other. They are always cuddle up together though the bars and are definitely a future husbun and bunwife. Once they are both fixed, they will both be up for adoption as a bonded pair. However they are available for an adoption hold until they are ready to go home. They will be fixed, vaccinated and microchipped before they go home. They can be adopted with or without an entire enclosure setup!

We are currently looking to raise $160 to get her fixed, vaccinated and microchipped!

💙5 week old baby boy Guinea💙

Hello everyone! We would like to introduce you to Benson, one of the 6 baby guineas we recently rescued on 5/29/24, from a petting zoo in SD. We were told it was a petting zoo but after our amazing transporter Jasmine went down there to pick them up (a huge thank you to her for saving these kids!) apparently it’s a whole property that seems to be some type of discovery center/hotel where people can stay. They have a petting zoo included on their property. Apparently some of their guests mixed the boys and girls. There is a total of 14 Guinea pigs (we think) and 3 are pregnant. We were told boys and girls were separated but after the babies arrived here we made a discovery that we had 2 boys and 4 girls, the one girl was still mixed with the boys. This situation is extremely frustrating. Why were the boys and girls able to be mixed? Why not get them properly sexed to avoid so many litters? We have only spoken to a woman who works there and she’s trying to find them homes, but is just giving them to people without properly screening them (with a $25 dollar fee). We think they are just over all of the Guinea pigs and just want most of them gone. It’s extremely dire we get all of these guineas out of here that we can. They want to keep a few girls but that is it. From what the woman told us they get hay, pellets and fresh stuff which is good. Once we sent a pic of how their setup should be this was her reply “Doubt most people can do that. I do give them that exact diet, they do have houses”. Which is sooooo sad. You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on supplies for Guinea pigs if you don’t want too. Why get them if you can’t properly care for them? There are more affordable options you just have to look! Anyways so sorry for the rant but we are extremely sad for all of these piggies. On the brighter side Benson and all of his siblings/cousins are all very sweet and easy to handle. They are so gentle and love to snuggle up right next to you. They are kid friendly and would be great beginner piggies!

🩷2.5 week old baby girl Rattie🩷

Hello everyone! We would like to introduce you to this tiny baby who we have named Sapphire or Saphy for short. As some of you may of seen we recently rescued 5 rats from someone who had plans to make a “profit “ of breeding rats for reptile food. Thankfully they didn’t follow through with this for very long. Their reasoning for trying to get rid of these rats was because they were too hard to care for, their cages were not cleaned and sometimes went without food and water. Literally living in roach infested tiny cages. Once picked up it was clear Saphys mama (Mama Sparkle, who’s a baby herself around 3-4 months old) was going to be giving birth soon. The next day we woke up to 12 beautiful baby beans. Saphy and her siblings were born on 5/7/24, and will be ready for adoption at 6 weeks old, in the middle of June 2024. Saphy and her siblings are already so friendly and playful! They have been handled since day 1. Saphy and her siblings would be great beginner rats, to families who have kiddos or to someone who just wants some very sweet and friendly little beans! Saphy must be adopted with at least one of her sisters (Princess Tiara, Sprinkles, Princess Glitter Goblin) or her mama! Mama Sparkle (Saphys mom) has been very sweet to us as well, she comes right up to the cage to say hello, she loves head pets and has no issues with us handling her or or checking in on her babies. She’s such a sweet girl despite what she’s gone through. We will be making more updates on this sweet mama and her beans as they grow!💐🎀💜

We want to thank Makala (one of the members of our rescue team) for picking these babies up and for bringing them to safety here at PNC!

Hello everyone, we would like to re introduce you to these adorable Guinea girls named Hazel and Penny. Hazel we rescued from EVAS, a high kill animal shelter in LA County earlier this year. She was rescued malnourished and sick. Thankfully we were able to rescue her in time and has made a full recovery. Since she is from the shelter we don’t know much about her life before she ended up in the shelter. We aren’t exactly sure her age. She seems like a young-adult guinea. Hazel is a very sweet and outgoing pig who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing. She loves to talk and will greet you whenever she sees ya! If she hears you in the refrigerator, you will hear about it lol! 😂
Penny was surrendered to us with Willow & Hailey (who are now adopted) on 2/17/24 after their family was moving out of state and were unable to take them with. This family did their research and took extremely good care of them! They originally purchased the 3 from a Petco around 3 years ago. Penny is a very sweet and talkative pig who loves to chat, come up for pets and nap in her hammock. They also enjoy free roam time and to snuggle as seen in this picture! They are kid friendly as well! They are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together. We believe they would do great as someone’s first pair of guineas. With someone of no to any piggy experience🐹🩷

Penny had a cyst removed on her back not long ago, she has since fully healed but she has a funny little shaved square of hair missing lol!

They are currently in a foster home until they find their forever home! We want to thank October for fostering these gals!

They can be adopted with or without their entire enclosure/supply setup!

Hello everyone! We would like to re introduce you to this beautiful sassy little piggy whom we named Ivy. Ivy was being given away for free on Facebook (post shown in pics of this post). Our founder ran across this add looking for piggy supplies on Facebook marketplace. We rescued Ivy on 4/16/24. She was living outside in a hutch. We don’t know much about her other than her age. She is such a sweet and talkative piggy. She definitely has a sassy side! She will grab a bag of treats right out of your hand if you’re not paying attention. It’s clear this Guinea pig prefers the spoiled life over how she was living before! She currently does not have a companion. We actually rescued Mable to be Ivys companion but it’s not going great😂😅. Ivy isn’t a huge fan of Mable. We are going to give it another week of seeing if they bond. If not we are going to see if we can find her a companion, but in the mean time she’s adoptable and can be adopted alone (if you have another Guinea or guineas at home). She’s a very sweet and talkative piggy she loves head pets and to cuddle in bed. She just wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing, she’s definitely a sassy queen who needs a person or family who is prepared to care for her as such lol!🤣👑🎀🩷

She can be adopted with or without her entire enclosure setup!!! (2x4 enclosure that comes with most supplies needed)

Our rescue has been working hard to provide a safe haven for rats, birds, reptiles, cats, and other animals in need. However, we can’t do it alone. We need your help to continue providing care, supplies, and veterinary bills for these animals. Any donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in their lives. 🏡🐢Adoption Update🐢🏡

Hello everyone! As some of you may of seen due to our large number of turtles we had up for adoption. We decided to waver their adoption fees until June. (Reminder anyone who adopted turtles, still had to go through our entire adoption process) We were not expecting to find 13 turtles homes within a month or so. We are so thrilled most of our turds have found amazing homes! Bonnie and Connie (the adorable turtles in this pic), we rescued from from either SDHS or a high kill shelter in LA county. When we started taking in turtles we didn’t do a great job of keeping track who came from where. However this year we have been far more organized with our intakes here at PNC! These two little ladies found such an awesome home. Their adopter has been going back and forth between which pets would work best for their family for some time. Once they saw our post about our turtle adoptions they reached out to us about adopting! They purchased them an amazing pond (same one we have) they also bought them an enclosure around their pond so they can hang out in the grass and dirt. They will be getting pond plants to add soon as well! We are so happy for these girls and can’t wait to get more updates from their new family in the future!😇💚

Hello everyone, we would like to re introduce one of our adorable & adoptable guineas named Mable. This little piggy was originally given/returned to a Petco. Wasn’t mentioned why, but a girl ended up purchasing Mable not long after. She had her for some time and then decided to post her on Facebook to rehome her. Luckily our founder was looking on Facebook that day! She was actually looking to find a prevue cage to buy for the rescue when she ran across an add for a prevue cage for sale for $40 and it came with a free guinea pig. Coincidentally we were looking for a companion for another Guinea Pig we took in a few weeks prior. She was picked up by Makala (one of the members of our rescue team)on 5/7/24 and brought to us that same day. We are going to see if we can find her a companion, but at the mean time she’s adoptable and can be adopted alone (if you have another Guinea or guineas at home). She’s a very sweet and talkative piggy. She loves to be involved in whatever you’re doing and will literally follow you around like a duckling!

🆘FOSTERS NEEDED🆘

Hello everyone, it’s Faith with PNC Little Critter Rescue here. I wanted to thank all of our supporters, members of our PNC friends and family for all of the love and support. You guys keep us going! Without amazing people like you our rescue truly wouldn’t be possible. Over the years our rescue and grown and grown. We have been and will continue to improve things for our rescue animals here at PNC. Over the years we have had fosters here and there. Never more than 5 at a time. We would really love to increase our number of fosters so we are able to save more animals in need. We are limited on space here, but if we have more amazing people come forward who can provide temporary homes for these animals, we can save more animals lives each year! We are currently looking for rabbit, rat, guinea pig, hamster & bird fosters! We can provide all supplies needed for your foster pets for their stay with you. Meaning you don’t have to cover any supplies and they are basically staying with you for free! So you don’t have to use any funds out of pocket for their stay with you! All of it can be covered by us! We have had fosters in the past ask if they are able to cover some or all supplies needed for them, which is totally fine too! You do not need pet experience to become a foster home for our rescue pets. But you will be expected to love, spoil and treat these babies like family until they find their forever home🏡💗
Not only do rescues save animals lives, fosters and adopters do too!😇🐰🥰

If you are looking to possibly become a foster home for a rescue pet or pets in need please contact us!!
Best way is via phone number or Instagram DM!📲📞❤️

Hello PNC friends and family. As many of you may of seen we got into contact with a family memeber of a family who was going to euthanize or release this mother and daughter pair due to the mama rat biting. At least this is what we were told. When we found out about these girls being in danger we knew we had to do something. We had less then a week to find someone to drive all the way down to almost the border of Mexico to save these girls. We had a few people offer to help and we are so thankful for everyone trying to act fast to help save these girls from certain death. We got in contact with Elena (one of our followers and supporters, who’s been following us for around 2 years) and she spoke with her hubby and he was able to go pick the girls up yesterday. Once he arrived the family was trying to go back and keep one of the girls. We are so greatful he stood his ground and made sure he was able to rescue both. Many people will agree, if your willing to throw away or kill rats because one of them bit, most likely due to fear or uncomfortably, then you simply do NOT deserve to have any animals PERIOD. Rats usually bite in fear, they are unsure or your over crossing their boundary. Once in Elena and Serge’s care they interacted with the girls and didn’t get bit once! Now in our care mama rat has not nipped thus far. Mama rat may be pregnant, well both may be but Mama rat definitely has a belly and has hair loss around her ni***es. Are we sure they are pregnant? No but it’s definitely a possibility. We know little about these rats other than a few things. We will try to learn more but due to the situation we feel we may not get further info onto the girls. Mama rat looks young herself maybe 4-5 months old and her baby around 2-3 months old. They are not yet available for adoption but will be once pregnancy is ruled out or once they have their babies and raise them. We can’t explain our gratitude to Elena and Serge for making this rescue mission possible. They are these girls hero’s!!! Once we get to know the girls a bit more we will make more updates🩷

Hello everyone, we would like to introduce you to this adorable baby Rattie named Side table, and yes you read that names correctly lol! Makala, one of the members of our rescue team came across a post on Facebook about how A family purchased a companion for their existing rat without realizing they were the opposite sex..They ended up keeping mom, two baby girls, dad and two baby boys. Boys and girls now separated! But decided the entire family of rats was too much and they needed to rehome most of the babies. One of the kiddos named one of them Pillow so we decided to go with the thyme for their names lol! Makala picked them up on 5/5/24 and transferred them to us same day! The baby boys were born on 4/2/24, which would make them 6 weeks old. This sweet bean and his siblings were raised along side young children, they are very sweet and playful! They would do well in a home with no to any Rattie experience! Pillow, Rug & Side table are a bonded trio and must be adopted together!
