Milo and Brimsley ♥️ I knew I was getting Brimsley soon after we lost Koda. My heart had a Berner-shaped hole. He was the reason I knew I couldn’t keep a Golden puppy of mine from my last litter… or at least he was why I was trying not to keep one. But from the second he was born, I knew Milo was special and what I had been looking for in an Indie and Gryffin puppy. And so many things happened that kept pointing back to he was meant to stay with us. We couldn’t bring ourselves to let him leave. So meet my two new puppies: Milo and Brimsley. 8 days apart in age and absolute trouble already. The exciting part about these two for my breeding program is they are hopefully the start to me being able to produce tri colored Golden Mountain Dog puppies— a goal I’ve had since I started raising my beloved cross! But first, they must pass all health testing! 🤞🏻 My summer just got a heck of a lot crazier and a heck of a lot cuter with these two. I am smitten!! ♥️

The babies’ forevers!!!! 🤩 It is one of my favorite parts watching families choose their puppies (but more often than not, watching my puppies choose their people). It is so special to see all of my love and hardwork that I’ve poured into these puppies be so worth it because of the happiness they bring to their families. My pick of the litter boy is 👀 for his people 🤩 Mr. Benedict— our black collar male is so calm, sweet and confident. In the extra days I’ve spent with him he has already done great on potty training and learned to “sit” instantly. Gets along great with all of our dogs— literally the perfect boy! I haven’t posted him yet because I keep wanting to keep him, but I’m trying my hardest not to so someone else needs to come scoop him up! Love this special boy! 8 weeks old and perfect as can be ♥️

Introducing Roberds Farm’s Bridgerton Litter! We took these photos on Wednesday, when Pen was seemingly doing well, so of course I had to include her adorable photo 🥰 She’ll always be a part of this litter ❤️‍🩹 I am so thankful the rest of this litter is doing so well — I am in love with two of the boys. I’ve been holding onto a male puppy this litter but have made the impossible decision to not keep one, so I do have one male puppy available. Take me up on my offer before I change my mind 🤭 He is ready to go home on Tuesday! These babies are getting so close to meeting their families! I fought so hard to save you, little Penelope, and I think the hardest part is I thought I had. At two weeks old, little Pen became extremely weak and I was able to get her back to living a normal life through countless sleepless nights of bottle feeding. And she got strong again and spent 7 weeks playing with her siblings and getting so much extra love from Josh and me. She was extra special being so teeny tiny but boy did she have the biggest, sweetest personality 🥹 We all had a feeling something wasn’t right with her little body but kept getting answers and I was hopeful for her future. But today life had other plans and it was clear that the hardest decision was the right decision for her and I had to say bye to her today 💔 This is the heartbreaking side of raising puppies that always makes me question if I actually do love raising my babies. I have a lot of peace knowing you knew how loved you were for your 7 far too short weeks, little one. I’ll love you forever, Pen ❤️‍🩹

Our Golden Retriever pups checked out great at the vet for their 6 week appointment!! They received their first round of vaccines, had full exams, a f***l test and were told they all looked fantastic and were such good babies! They are big puppies and are going to be so beautiful! I absolutely love these pups! We have one male looking for a 🏠 and our tiny purple collar girl will also be looking for a 🏠, but likely a few weeks after her siblings! Our Golden Mountain Dog puppies received a perfect report at the vet today for their 6 week check up! Happy 5 weeks to these special 8! It makes me so happy that during this week of missing our Koda, I’ve been spending time raising tiny “Kodas” for so many families. Dogs are so good and bring so much joy— so lucky to be able to raise them ♥️ These babies are growing so much everyday, nursing less and eating more food on their own and spending more and more time outside being little dogs!! Love this age and this cross of breeds so much!!

We lost one of our family members today 💔 Koda is the reason for my love of Bernese Mountain Dogs and the reason I began breeding Golden Mountain Dogs— with the hopes of increasing purebred Bernese’s way-too-short lifespan. 8.5 years was not long enough with you, buddy 😭 I will love and miss you forever, my Koda Bear ❤️‍🩹 Please bear with us as we take some personal time to mourn the loss of our boy ♥️

Indie and Gryffin’s puppies joined us on May 7, 2024, and are doing great!!! 7 perfect puppies— 4 males and 3 females ♥️ Indie had such a smooth, effortless and quick delivery, I feel so thankful! Unfortunately our small little boy didn’t make it— Indie knew something wasn’t right with him the second he was born and her and I did everything we could for him but he just wasn’t strong enough ❤️‍🩹 I am always devastated when I lose a baby but it makes me even more thankful for the 7 that are thriving! Mom and puppies are doing amazing and they’re getting bigger by the day! There is just something about teeny tiny Goldens that I can’t get enough of 🥹 I already can’t wait for all of our adventures together this summer with my fleet of fifteen puppies! 🤩♥️

Happy 2 weeks to these special 8! Cannot handle their cuteness! Their eyes are open and they’re walking! Today is their last day of ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and then we wait until they’re three weeks old when their ears open to start the next phases of Puppy Culture! Indie had her puppy count X-ray yesterday and we are thrilled and relieved she has a “normal” litter size (compared to the 15 she had last litter!!). How many puppies do you see for Miss Indie? Happy 1st birthday to our Taylor Swift Litter!!! 🥳 One year ago was the craziest 24 hours of my life when I delivered 17 puppies within 12 hours of each other and instantly became hooked to having so many babies!! 🤭 You all are a special group with the best parents who have formed the sweetest Roberds Farm community with one another— I love that you all get to see each other and play and even had a 1st birthday party together yesterday! One week of intense cuteness with my Golden Mountain Dog Puppies 🥰

What I’ve always dreamed of… raising puppies on my own farm ♥️ Things have been a little quiet around here as we’ve been moving all of our fur babies over to our new farm in Saint Johns (!!!!) but everyone is doing great and getting so big! I hope to post their 5 week photos (a little late!) in the next couple of days! In the meantime, here are some moments from one of the last nights we spent at our first home, where so many dreams started ♥️ Puppies are 4.5 weeks old here ✨
