Ouch! Did you know that on a sunny summer day, asphalt can reach temperatures over 140°F? That's hot enough to burn your pup's sensitive paws within minutes!
Here's how to keep your furry friend safe:
1. Walk Early or Late: Stick to early morning or late evening walks when the pavement is cooler.
2. Test the Pavement: Place the back of your hand on the asphalt for 10 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your pup.

Is dog waste a good fertilizer?
It is not! Please don’t put dog p**p in your garden. Dog p**p can actually harm soil and plants if it’s not promptly removed. It can also pose health risks for both animals and humans.
Unlike horse and cow manure, a natural fertilizer, dog waste does not come from a plant-based diet and is therefore not suitable for your flower bed.
