I was born in Michigan and spent my childhood in Washington State where I attained my love for the outdoors. I have always loved animals and my family always had a dog or a cat as a family pet. I was in the restaurant industry for many years and then was given an opportunity to work for another dog walker and I realized I had found a profession I truly connected with in my core and in my heart. I

love what I do and I hope it shows! I am currently the organizer for multiple park/trail cleanups along the East Bench in Salt Lake City. I have amazing relationships with all of my clients and I believe they would say so :) Loving what you do is so important along with the trust to do my job and for this line of work, it is necessary as it is such an intimate thing to go into someone's home when they are not there to care for their fur babies. I feel very lucky!

My sweetest Anisha passed away peacefully at my home on Friday 12/23/22.
She was confident, aloof, yet loving and playful.
She was with me before I started BLPC and she knew all of the pack members.
My younger pup, Senna, was lucky to learn from her - Anisha was a good teacher and big sister.

My heart is broken and I will never get over this huge loss.

We are so lucky to have such beautiful souls to teach us during our time here.

Yesterday we hit 103° and today should be around 100°. These cooling vests are a must have, especially if your dog doesn’t do well in the heat. They are proven to keep your pup 10° to 15° cooler than without it. I am seeing a lot of people on the trails running, hiking, biking with a dog and without water. Dogs do not cool as quickly or in the same way that humans do.
