With severe weather season already here we would like to inform all of our clients of our plan to keep your pets safe while they are in our care.

Tornado Warning:

-All pets will be taken downstairs in our safe shelter and placed in kennels under supervision of staff.

-Front doors will be locked

-Phones lines may stop working so if you can not reach us directly through our shop number 402-515-8268. Also you can use Facebook messenger. Our plan is to remain downstairs until the warning has expired. So please plan for possible extended out times during warnings.

- If we experience weather related damage and/or power outage, we will notify everyone via text and calls. We are asking everyone to ensure their pets are picked up promptly.

-If weather is a concern for you please plan ahead and reschedule your appointment.

Our main concern is keeping everyone safe during this time. Thank you Ruffcuts Staff💚

A little about me ...

Hello, my name is Jennie. My family and I have recently moved to Norfolk from Omaha this past July. I have 6 children and a husky mom of 2. I have been grooming for over 10 years. I was taught by a wonderful groomer in Omaha, who believed that grooming was a learned art and not something that could be taught over night. I have worked for a few different shops in Omaha, before becoming the grooming manager at a well known shop in 2011. I got pretty close to all of my furry clients and parents, which made my decision to take a break from grooming very difficult. I was offered a position as a pharmacy tech, but I quickly realized working with animals is where my heart is. I accepted a position as a Vet Assistant for a clinic here in Norfolk, but owning my own groom shop has always been my lifelong goal. Grooming from home allows me to offer my clients the time and quite space some dogs and cats require. Also allows me to provide some evening and weekend appointments to better accommodate my clients busy schedules.
