ay volunteer day much more than my Monday through Friday. And back then, I was mostly cleaning kennels and helping to exercise and socialize the pets. In a moment of clarity I realized that if I enjoyed scooping p**p more than my full time career then it was time to make a change. I had the good fortune of joining the Jacksonville Humane Society as the organization’s first-ever Human Resources Coordinator (I still scooped p**p on the side!) and from that first day in November of 2003 I understood what is meant by the statement, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
That was a long time ago and I am still caring for animals, just in a different way. I now live in New Port Richey and have decided to go full time with my pet sitting services. I had been pet sitting all these years “a la carte” but really feel like now it is time to make pet sitting “the main course!”
I have been a resident of New Port Richey since October 2018. People are friendly and the community seems to be very pet friendly, as well. In a few months time I had built a small but dedicated client group of loving pet parents who have helped me realize that it is time to return to my calling of caring for animals. So if you have been thinking about finding a new Best Buddy for your pet then give me a call.
