We are thrilled to announce that we are participating in another Angel Spay & Neuter Day thanks to Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc. This Angel Day will cover the cost of surgery, an e collar, a rabies vaccine and post-op pain medication for 20 pit bull type dogs on Monday, February 24th.

Christmas litter puppies are looking for forever families. Ready for adoption in 3-4 weeks. Please share their post.

Currently six weeks old and 8-10 pounds of pure cuteness. Large breed, pit mixed with something fluffy. Indoor homes only. Yes, playtime outside is super fun but we need indoor living with our families.

Welcome back to Day 2 of our "about us" series. Let's talk about our surgical services!

Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills is what's known as an HVHQSN clinic. HVHQSN stands for high-volume, high-quality, spay/neuter. Unlike a full-service vet clinic that offers vaccine visits, x-rays, ultrasounds, dentals, sick visits, and more, we focus almost exclusively on surgery. Most full-service clinics only do surgery a few days a week and usually only in the mornings. We perform spay/neuter surgeries Mondays-Thursdays, all day long. This allows us to do more animals per day and also helps to keep our prices low by eliminating overhead costs such as purchasing and maintaining things like an x-ray unit, an ultrasound machine, or dental equipment.

Another amazing year! Together we helped over 1,100 pets in 2024 😍 Many, many thanks to all our wonderful volunteers, donors, adopters and supporters. Because They All Matter.

As we begin a new year, we must say thank you for your support in 2024. We know numbers are not the most important thing; it is the stories behind the numbers. We share those as much as possible, but we do want to share the numbers. We are an all-foster, all-volunteer organization. In 2024, we adopted out 76 dogs and puppies and 304 cats and kittens. We supported the spay/neuter of 393 cats and 271 dogs through our JoCo Pets program and 29 cats and 38 dogs through our Neuter/Spay Repay program.
