Meet Rudy! Rudy is a sweet, affectionate, and well-behaved hound mix who is about 9 years old. He enjoys being outside and he loves cuddling with his people. He can be selective about his dog friends, so slow introductions are a must. He would love to be in a single-dog family, or with another dog who will give him space to get used to each other. Message from Finder: Saw the dog running down W Woodall St in Benson and looks like he popped his chain. Does have collar on. Will take him in the morning to see if chipped. If this is your dog you have to give specifics of collar.

JCAPL is excited to announce two new spay/neuter grants. We have received support from the 2025 Johnston County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the NC Community Foundation and from the Margaret Petrie Foundation.

Our program started in 2015 with a grant from NCCF. That year we funded surgeries for 15 cats and 17 dogs. Last year we did 309 cats and 422 dogs. Since 2015, we have funded surgeries for over 2200 cats and over 1700 dogs. We are grateful for the help we receive from these and other agencies and our awesome vet partner, Quality Care Animal Hospital, PLLC.

This program is greatly needed, and we will do all we can to keep it going.

Looking for a way to help? Our kittens & cats could really use some help with the laundry at the Cat Adoption Center at PetSmart Timber Dr (Garner.) Once per week pick up blankets, beds & hammocks from the Adoption center and wash at home. Play with the cats for awhile while you're there! Happy Tails! Korben Dallas, our marshmallow fluff, bunny, Korbus Maximus, baby boy, who we adopted at 4 months old, lived happily and perpetually hungry (when his bowl was overflowing LOL) to 16 years old. We loved you very much, old man.

Pictured here on his favorite side/blanket on the back of our couch. We adopted him from JCAPL. He was our baby boy! Thank you for giving pets a chance to find forever homes! And families to find them!
