Registered pygmies available!

1 yearling buck, born September 11, 2020. Grey agouti with a belt on his right side, horned, out of CB Pygmies Egg II and Desert Suns Klassic Advantage. We are keeping a junior buckling from our April kidding in his place.

I also have a 4 year old black agouti buck available, out of Daworth’s Deliberate Design by Daworth’s Dangerous Liaison. He is a proven herdsire from hard-to-find lines that will bring depth of body, width, and a gorgeous pygmy-type head to any breeding program!

Currently traveling, but more information is available upon request.

STILL AVAILABLE! Two pet wethers, 3/4 pygmy, 1/4 boer. Looking to find a good home for them where they can be pasture pets. Very friendly when you have chips, easy keepers, get along well with other goats. Rehoming them as a pair.

What’s the future of our herd?

Those of you who know me personally know that I am a senior in college - I love my goats, but life is calling. Where does that leave CB Pygmies?

I have several bucks still, and many thanks go out to Loree Tackmier over at TNT Pygmies for housing my breeding herd, as well as Linda Colville of Desert Suns Pygmies. That herd consists of a handful of breeding-aged does alongside my bucks. I anticipate 2 or 3 kiddings from my does per year; this little dude is the result of one such breeding (side note: welcome CB Pygmies Manfrid Manfish!) When I say handful, I do mean handful: I have 3 does of breeding age, and have kept one doeling from the spring out of an “oopsie!” from a retired doe. That being said, I am helping Loree grow her breeding program to blend our lines and keep some of the rarer lineages we both have consistently growing and adapting to best fit the standard. While CB Pygmies may only have a wether or doe available here or there, I am more than happy to help families locate their newest herd member, as well as offer any advice I can for herd management!

Here’s to the future - to new beginnings, evolving dreams and goals, and the most adorable little baby goat faces!

We have wethers available! One is a purebred pygmy born in September 2020; nice body on this guy, good structure, and all around a promising show prospect. He will need some work on a leash. His sire is Dozer and his twin brother is staying on with our breeding program.

The other two boys are my “pygbigmies”: 3/4 pygmy, 1/4 boer. They are great pasture pets but I need to focus more on school! They are yearlings now, good weed-eaters and browsers, friendly and will walk up for treats but have no experience on a leash. The third picture shows their size compared to a purebred pygmy doe - they are at their full height now and aren’t much bigger, just longer legged.

Message if you’re interested in any of these boys!

Our Story

I founded CB Pygmies in 2014, when I was just 14 years old, to breed and show NPGA registered pygmy goats. I’ve quickly grown to actively support youth and families in region 2, where I am located. I am president of the Bay Area Pygmy Goat Club (BAPGC) and help put together NPGA-sanctioned youth and open shows, as well as other youth-oriented events. I actively breed pygmy goats and sell to families, providing foundation breeding and show stock to new herds.

My goal is to promote pygmy goats, whether it be to youth, families, existing breeders, or enthusiasts of the breed (or small goats in general!).
