Updates like these make my heart feel full! Another Nova x Junior 2023 pup! "Hi Renee and Merry Christmas to you, your family as well as the entire Peak Performance Clan. Hudson, who is out of the 2023 Junior & Nova liter never ceases to amazes me. Super smart dog that I’ve had the privelage to work with, what an amazing addition to the family as well as an early Christmas present for me. Opportunities have been plentiful as we’ve had time to socialize in the big field with a small group of close friends who all have working labs. Recently Hudson also managed to pickup his 1st black duck that brought home after a solo hunt. We also had an opportunity to stop by my old stomping grounds at a local hunt club where they had a tower shoot. The club manager was happy to see and allowed us to walk their fields while off in the distance we heard some shooting. Hudson did just fine and was inquisitive over the “pop” “pop” going on. Well fast forward about 15 minutes and a cock pheasant that was lightly hit went down about 75 yards away from us. Hudson and I took a slow and careful walk over where he spotted the bird. I gave him a helping hand as I didn’t want him to get spurred and Hudson made a few retrieved carrying the bird where he brought it back to me. Thank you again for such a wonderful puppy!" Steve P. I'm late posting but we had an excellent weekend at Fingerlakes Retriever Club Summer hunt test last weekend. Congratulations to all our dogs and clients!
