Taking a day trip or planning a weekend getaway? Planning to visit family and friends during the holidays? Does your pet need to be cared for while you are working because of your busy long schedule? Do you need help due to medical or health issues and limitations? WHY BOARD YOUR PET WHEN THEY CAN STAY IN THE COMFORTS OF THEIR OWN HOME? Back in January 2007, I decided to start my business because

of the limited options that were available for pet care and boarding in Sussex County. With the encouragement and support of my personal vet because there was such a tremendous need for the pet owners I worked hard to develop and get established within the community. It literally is a 365 day a year profession and I absolutely love what I do. I have also worked previously with the local hotels and B & B's accommodating their guests who bring their pets on vacation and want to enjoy a day at the beach or a night out to dinner. I AM LICENSED, INSURED, BONDED AND BACKGROUND CHECKED. When you are entrusting someone to come into your home and care for your pets I feel this is most important and gives you that peace of mind. This is not only for the safety of your pets and home but for your protection as well as others. You will have the secure feeling knowing I am caring for your pets and I want you to feel comfortable with this important decision. References are always available upon request. There are many people out there doing this as a hobby that are NOT licensed and insured and I will not refer anyone who is not should I be unavailable. I do assist other pet care providers when they need help with their clients if they are unavailable as we all share the same compassion of love for all animals. The following services are provided for all of your needs:

Daily visits as needed, dog walks, feeding, play time, administer medications, waste clean up outside, litter box cleaning, mail and newspaper retrieval, indoor plant watering, interior light adjustments, trash and recycling cans will be placed out for pick up according to schedule, pet transportation as needed, nail trimming and house sitting for security with inspections. OVERNIGHT STAYS ARE NOT BEING OFFERED AT THIS TIME. I will be happy to refer you to another provider in your area. Watering outdoor plants and vegetable gardens will now be an additional charge. Fees will vary.

It only took 4 years and with taking care of her the last 7 days, today was the day Ratty decided she wanted to get up on my lap to cuddle ... both visits🤗. I was tickled pink.

There has been constant heartbreak in the last couple of months up to this week as several clients have had to say goodbye to their loved ones. We can't help but to wonder what lies ahead in their new journey when they can't live with us forever. Three are new clients within a year. Twinkle lived a long 17 years with a neurological disorder and hip dysplasia since she was a kitten whose mother is so patient, so kind. Orange Sammy has left behind his orange tabby littermate Willie who is also not doing well at this time. Rosie never outgrew her feral tendencies to be cautious with humans. Mitzi was so new I had only been able to take care of her for one scheduled service and never got a chance to get to know her. Black Panther Sammy I have know since he was adopted as a kitten and was very close and dear friend of mine. Gracie aka Gladys from Safe Haven No Kill Shelter was one of the last dogs to be adopted out before its demise. I am so, so sorry my clients, my friends.

With July 4th approaching, please prepare to keep both indoor and outdoor animals in their safe space with it is inside your home, barns, crates, kennels, etc. Fear of the noise from fireworks and firecrackers will cause animals to run and escape. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DOGS AND CATS HAVE COLLARS ON WITH ID TAGS ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE NOT MICROCHIPPED. If you have moved or changed your contact numbers since adopting or having a chip placed, PLEASE contact the microchip company and update your contact information. This will help in reuniting your pet with you in a timely manner. Don't forget that I do have a microchip scanner should anyone potentially find someone's pet. I can be reached at 302-852-5250.

This is Shiloh a tabby cat mixed "possibly" with a siamese. He is available for adoption thru Brandywine Valley SPCA over at the Petsmart in Rehoboth. Adoption fee is half off today. He is documented as an owner surrender as of June 20th which could mean any reason. He is believed to be app.10 years old. He was very quiet, not talkative (which may be indicative mixed with a different breed... we cannot make that assumption just based on his coloring) and very laid back. He does well with the other cats and kittens there. Beautiful cream coloring, brown tabby striping and ice blue👀. 🩵

Meet sweet Pennington, a 17 year young senior who moved from the Wilmington area down to Lewes also to The Governors. He too has kidney disease and eats prescription food to help aid with slowing the progression of the disease. He also has arthritis but that doesn't stop him from getting around, jumping up or down for his prescription treats.🐾 Hope to see you soon little lovebug.

Meet these two handsome senior 15 year old litter mates Tonkinese brothers Gilbert and Sullivan. Bert is a seal mink brown and Sully is a seal blue gray. Meet my 2 new senior clients 11 year old Anna and 12 year old Amos. Amos has kidney disease and requires prescription renal care food which is not favored and takes medication to relax him. Anna is a sweetheart and lives to eat😆. Both also take medicine for weepy eyes and need to be wiped clean daily with warm water. Welcome to Lewes kiddos. See you soon.🧡🤍

Autumn.... my housewarming gift who showed up a week after moving in. Took me 3 months to finally get ahold of her the night a noreaster was coming. She got spayed and all of her shots only to run out the door 6 months later. Everyone was seeing her except me. She wanted to be outside and a month later she came back and I started feeding her again. Another storm coming and I grabbed her so quickly wrapped her in my shirt and rushed into the house and told her "This is it, that is no longer a life for you." She for most of her life chose to live in my bedroom because she felt safe and secure under my bed. Although she remained semi feral more like a scaredy-cat, my boy cats always loved her. She just never cared for my girls and learned to adapt. She was cautious and then became laid back as she got older. Two years ago she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I told the vet there is no way I was going to be able to pill her so I chose transdermal. By rubbing her ear with her medicine she thought ... that feels pretty good. It then led to not brief seconds of pet her but long term petting, then loved, loved to be brushed and combed and her actually giving in to me cutting her nails without being a ninja. I repeatedly have said to her see what you had been missing the first 15 years of your life. And today, I had to say goodbye her as she too was in end stage kidney failure. I am so grateful that she was FINALLY able to experience the love of a human fully especially these last 2 years she became sick. I made that commitment when I took her in that I would take care of her for the rest of her life. Not that she didn't love her mom because that I never doubted, it was finally making that true connection of loving and being loved. There are so many animals out there that never had the chance to know ..... Awwww my Baby Autumn...💔 17+ years was a good life.

My last day with my senior girls. I took my ear cleaner over today because both really needed a good cleaning of canals etc. I think they will be comfortable for awhile and not rubbing on everything. Rosie I think felt so much better and was head bopping me and purring away. Stella was okay but I am sure she is feeling much better now and she will have forgotten all about it tomorrow. Love the seniors and love assisting their parents.

My two new clients are the sweetest senior girls. I have been taking care of now for almost 2 weeks. Rosie is a diluted orange/Buff colored tabby and Stella is beautiful, petite cream colored with pale orange pointing on her ears and tail. She has this cute little meep when she talks to me and due to sinus issues has a distorted sounding purr. 🫶

MISSING female chihuahua named LIVVY near Station on Kings in Lewes not wearing collar. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HER! She has run away from several people attempting to catch her. She is a recent rescue who is skittish and is microchipped!! She was seen in Hawkseye so she could be anywhere in the communities off Gills Neck Rd. Chester 3 of 3 I'm just SO happy this morning....🤍 see previous videos and reel posted why. 😀 I mean we go from a scared cat hiding, hissing, wanting to swat me when I want to try and gently pet him because of being a semi feral cat....I come over after the solar eclipse yesterday and it's like he is a totally different cat switched out with his twin. Chester 1 of 3 ....So Chester loves being outside on the screened porch at his new house. I decided to sit out there for the first time because it was so beautiful yesterday since everyone was tucked away hiding. No sooner I sit down I look up to see Chester at the door wanting to come out😲. I could see his demeanor and body language was different than it normally is. Not tense, eyes super calming, ears normal. So I messaged mom to see if I should let him out with me and said not to because I will not be able to get him to come in, lol, knowing I had other jobs to get to. So I decided to go back in to see what he would do... hiss at me, run and hide...🤔 No, as seen in the pictures of the reel I created last night. I am just stunned he completely surrendered and let the wall come down. 2 years this month he would no longer live outside with the threat of people wanting to harm him.

It's been 2 years since I helped my client and friend trap Chester who now lives indoors. Today's total solar eclipse must be the reason he finally threw in the towel. He came to me for treats today, took them from my hand and... I was able to pet him for the VERY FIRST TIME💥 I quickly kept taking pictures of this moment to share. Unbelievable

Sweet Moose ... Someone thought is was time to love and enjoy some chocolate 🍫 His mom went out for a few hours Wednesday and came home to find he had crossed 🌈 Rainbow Bridge. He was 12 1/2 years old. I started taking care of Moosey and his sister over 2 years ago when I started my health journey to take care of myself, eat better, lose weight and what better way to help with exercising than walking two chocolate bars. He loved carrying his stuffed animals everywhere, ate things he wasn't supposed to eat and loved everyone he met. Keep his mom and family in your thoughts. You will be missed by all.💔

Sweet Edgar has passed and crossed Rainbow 🌈 Bridge today. Those who know me well know my love for white animals and especially those with special needs. Eddie was deaf and had a big voice. His medical issues were manageable and he lived a wonderful 16 years. His parents second loss since summer arrived.🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍😪
