Pette’s Hounds very informally began in December of 2011, when some very nice folks employed one Sara Pette to walk their very nice mutt. Since then, our animal-friend network has not stopped growing, the lucky dogs we are! Sara Pette has had the good fortune of aptonymity since she began professionally walking dogs in Washington, D. Relocating to Minneapolis in 2011, it quickly became clear that

that had been the best job she’d ever had, and was eager to get a new leash on life in her new city. And so, Pette’s Hounds was born, out of determination, winter hardiness, and, of course, a fervent love for other folks’ fur-babies.
