We are a 501(c)3 organization serving pets of the homeless and other vulnerable populations in Utah, providing free pet food and other basic pet needs.

Last Saturday we met the most incredible group of students from the University of Utah! As part of the alternative breaks program, they signed up to volunteer with us as part of their fall break. Despite the torrential downpour this group showed up in the biggest way! They bagged over 3,000 pounds of dog and cat food, 1,200 pounds of litter and worked their butts off!

We even had a makeshift moat to get through the parking lot!

We are so grateful for animal loving humans who give of their time to keep us going.

We had an incredibly busy outreach, which ended with us giving out all the dog food we had.!Thanks to Jennifer, Laurie, Mickie, Berk, and special guest Elle of KUER News, NPR Utah.

We served:

69 families
121 dogs
115 cats
1,650 pounds of food
292 cans of food
118 bags of treats
189 pounds of litter

We will be back at Pioneer Park from 12-1 pm on October 12th.

54 families
80 dogs

1,072 pounds of dry food
300 cans of wet food
294 bags of treats
180 pounds of litter

We are a bit behind on posting outreach numbers for August. Life got a little more hectic!

Our numbers for August:

400 families
650 dogs
259 cats
3,500 pounds of dry food
400 bags of treats
600 cans of food
500 pounds of litter

Many, many thanks to our tiny band of volunteers. It takes A LOT of hard labor to put outreach supplies together. We are very thankful for the help!

Next outreach: September 14, 2025, at Pioneer Park in downtown SLC from 12-1 PM.

We had a blast at the Unlucky Ones car show! We “adopted” out 24 animals today!! We also visited with friends, new and old. Thanks for having us!

Come and see us at the Down & Dirty car show in Magna today! Thank you to the Unlucky Ones for inviting us and including us in their fundraiser! We’ll have stuffed animals up for adoption today as well as swag for sale. Hope to see you!
