Now I know why today is so gloomy. Tears are falling from heaven for sweet Dixie girl. I just read her mama's post that she crossed the rainbow bridge and I'm completely heartbroken. I just started sitting for her pack last year. I started with 4 and now there's only one baby left. Dixie was a sassy girl with the squishiest face who loved her treats and could let out the baddest howl. She usually howled to tell on Whiskey because he was bothering her. I had to watch her during meal time because she wanted everyones bowls. She loved climbing on the couch and getting scratched behind her ears. She was a sweet baby and I miss her already. RIP Dixie...I know Maya and Duke met you at the bridge and are showing you around your beautiful new home. You were loved by many💔😭🐶🌈

PHOTO DUMP!!! Today was my last day with all of these four legged love bugs!! We had such a good time. I spent a lot of time tossing Penny's ball and snuggling with her on the couch. She followed me everywhere I went. Toby just wants to be close and get his head and back scratched. He makes sure to get my attention with his big ol paws. He would do his best to get as close to me as he could without getting on the couch. Cookie would come around some but she mainly hung out on a bed or in a window. Toulouse is my biggest surprise. She always hides from me. There have been times I thought maybe she got out somehow. By the end of my stay she was seeking me out. She would talk to me and let me pet her as long as the real life Muppet stayed away.🐶🐱🐾❤️

Before and after I told Toby he was a "handsome boy!" He just wants all the lovin. Penny and I had an early morning game of tossing her ball. That ball is to her as the blanket is to Linus. I woke up this morning with Cookie laying on my chest. She was hungry. I caught her getting her cat nap in after breakfast. Believe it or not Toulouse made another appearance AND she let me pet her fluffiness.🐶🐱🐾❤️

Shhhhh! Be vewy, vewy quiet! There's been a rare sighting of the mystical cat named Toulouse on the loose. She tried to sneak by me but my cat like reflexes out matched hers. I quickly snapped a shot of this fluffy kitty on the hunt for kibble. She made her way quickly behind the couch and into the bathroom were she killed her bowl of meow mix. With her belly full she went back into hiding. She really did; I have no idea where she is🤷🏼‍♀️😁🐱🐾❤️

Spending some time with these love bugs!! It's been over a year since I last sat with them so I was excited to be available when their mama reached out. I predict a lot of ball throwing and belly rubs in their future. Cookie came out to see what all the ruckus was meanwhile, I haven't seen Toulouse yet. She likes to hide from me, always. 🐶🐱🐾❤️

Photo dump!! This past week has been so fulfilling sitting for my og's and their new sister. My goal was to be able to pet Dutchess before I leave. Not only did she let me scratch her head and tummy but when I would greet her in the morning she would pick up her front paw and wave it at me. I thought my heart was going to explode. She still needs more time but she's really coming around. 🐶🐱🐾❤️

Despite how nasty the weather has been. Dutchess and I have started to make a friendship based on nothing but trust. I'm not sure what her life was like before but I'm pretty sure it wasn't kind to her. She lets me sit with her and scratch her head. She talks to me and I listen. When I stepped outside to check on her earlier, she did a little jump and wagged her tail. She's definitely interested in Krewe and Annie. She sniffed him and started wagging her tail. He hid behind my legs but it appears she just wants to play. She's completely non-aggressive. Annie and Krewe would rather be lazy. The last pic of Dutchess makes me laugh. She's already over the photo shoot. 🐶🐾❤️
