Raffy was a scruffy little man when he came in. His coat was a bit damaged from the mats he got while being a playful puppy. I love using Tauro Pro Line's Magic-Plex Line to help restore coats! The composition of Magic-Plex is supplemented with a mixture of 8 unique natural and essential oils, so the restorative conditioner provides extremely deep hair and skin hydration, provides elasticity, fills hair cracks, and prevents breakage. Hair becomes soft, shiny, and easy to comb. The conditioner does not contain parabens, SLS and silicones, so it is suitable for even the most sensitive pets. 1.) All acceptance of new clients has been paused for the time being. I am currently fully booked for the next two months, so I'm pausing new client bookings until more openings are available so that I can make sure all my current clients are taken care of. 😊

2.) Due to the continued increase in running costs for the business, especially the cost of the high quality products I use for the health and safety of all the pups and in order to begin to pay myself more than a few hundred dollars a month 🥲, it is necessary for me to have a general price increase to continue to stay open and hopefully expand this year. Most prices only increased by about $4, or $2 per hour. Though my 1-on-1 appts did have to increase by more because I was severely undercharging for this type of appointment and in order to compensate for them being specialty appts and not being able to groom as many dogs in a day the price did have to go up by about $10-$12 from my previous 1-on-1 pricing.
** Please also note! My weight ranges have changed as well, from "Under 16lbs and 17lbs-35lbs" to now being "Under 19lbs and 20lbs-35lbs". This will put some people who were once in the larger weight range to now being in the lower weight range, meaning your new price may not change from your old price. 3.) New policies! There are a few new things added to my current policies. The main things being an addition to my late cancelation & no-show policy, a very important addition to my Saftey First policy regarding elderly dogs, and an addition to my payment policy that includes that I will no longer be able to accept checks as a payment option, unfortunately. I completely understand if any of this changes things for anyone and please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Texts or emails can be answered within 24hrs of receiving them and phone calls can take up to 48hrs to call back (or longer due to us being closed on New Years day).
I truly appreciate everyone who has supported my business and who will continue to. I always do my best to gain more knowledge and skills and I look forwarded to serving all of you in the new year. 🥰 🐩 I really hope to expand my business this year, with all the work I've been doing behind the scenes. I was recently nominated as one of CWE's (the Center for Women & Enterprise) regional Rising Stars, for business owners who demonstrated noteworthy achievements. Which will be highlighted at their big event in Boston in April next year. There were only 5 nominated for each region. 🥰 I was recognized for my outstanding business plan that I wrote this year with assistance from their Vermont director Gwen Pokalo Hart and for my strategic thinking and the challenges that I've overcome while building my business.
I had to send them some photos and realized I had no professional looking photos of me. At least none that were even remotely recent 🤣. Luckily my mom was free to come and take a few photos of me in my salon with Luna today. 😊
Luna was feeling less than professional in the last photo as she finally got the ball my mom had pulled out for her. 🤣 While she doesn't look very professional she does look extremely happy so I had to include it. 🤣🥰
The last photo is a photo of Luna and I way back in 2012! The same year I started grooming dogs and the same year I adopted Luna from a rescue in New Jersey 🥰🥰 We've come so far from those days. I was only 22 and Luna was only 6 months old! 🥰🥰 oh how almost 13 years can fly by!

Last minute appointments available! Hello everyone! I have two appts that have opened up this week! Wednesday the 4th at 1:30pm and Friday the 6th at 1pm.
We are also still accepting some new clients with openings in January if these two Dec appts fill up.

Please note we specialize in regularly maintained hairstyles. This means; longer length styles, breed standard styles, dogs with special needs around grooming or those looking to be on an every 8 week or less schedule. But we do still love an accept short haired breeds as well ☺️.
Some of our pricing may change from what is currently on the website come January as there will be a small general price increase across both the 1-on-1 appts and traditional appts, this is unfortunately due to increased cost in supplies and equipment, but also because of becoming an Internationally Certified Advanced Professional Groomer a couple months ago and because I'll be working through completing my International Master Groomer Certification this coming year as well. I hope that everyone understands as I am grateful to all my clients for their continued support. 🙏
