Feelin like a Caturday kind of week. These two boys are very special to me.

India, grey and white, and I have formed a very loving bond. He chooses when he wants attention. If I lay on the floor and ignore him with my hand out…he comes for pets and belly rubs. Friskies Treats are always involved.

Mr. Bo Jangles, Siamese. Yes he is missing one eye. He looks like my cat Apoc, just older. Has a gentle soul with a lot to meow about.

The heat index may get up to 113 degrees today! Keep those pets inside as much as possible, do not leave them in the car, and please only walk them on the grass.

Ace is a very photogenic happy chocolate labrador retriever. For payment he choose to retrieve a giant piece of scrape wood from burn pile. He is proud to share. His human sister is getting married this weekend. How exciting for the two families coming together. 💍👰‍♀️💒🤵‍♂️ Paws Forward Pet Sitting

I got to watch Miss Athena (Akita) and Page (Vizla) last week while parents went to Alaska. Athena is to cute when she is acting sassy. Page was determined to catch “the bunny” all week. I don’t think I have ever seen a dog run so fast. Don’t worry, the bunny is still on the run. 🐇

Pretty sky to the north of Oskaloosa, have a couple partners to help me out. We or I can already hear the coyotes and have gotten even closer and louder just typing this out. Inside we go, not messing with two dogs off leash and yotes. Atlas, Anatolian shepherd, I am not worried about, I know he will stand his ground. Dude has a deep bark and low shattering growl.

Goldie, Bo, Atlas and a couple hidden cats, that I know are at least eating and using their boxes.

Dog walks and black cat summer. If I remember Friday I may bring an extra leash to see if Miku will walk with Einstein, Moe and I. I feel like she would.

Moe (tan pup) is looking for his forever home, currently being fostered by Einstein’s mom. He is an older man, just had a dental so his cute tongue sticks out sometimes. Only a smile a mom can love. Haha.

Hey Friends. For those that are staying home or leaving your to celebrate the 4th of July don't forget not all pets and human's are fascinated by the small or large bombs and beautiful colors. Here are some tips.

If your pet is super scared please call your vet today or tomorrow to find out what medication options your family has. Most local towns can start as early as today shooting off fireworks. It's better to get some pre-meds on board while central nervous system is at ease now.

Update: They’re family is now able to keep the pups. Sadly for me they are all moving to Oklahoma. Glad there is a happy ending for both the girls and human family.

Hey friends. A family that I have been pet sitting for the last few years is needing to rehome their dogs.

Unfortunately life has taken a different path for the humans, so it’s truly no fault on the pups. They are located in Stonecreek subdivision in Tongie, crate trained, they love their crate actually. Play well with each other and get along with cats, plus a large tortoise. I love these two girls. If I didn’t already have a full house with two huskies and four cats I would take them instantly. Very gentle, loves people. One is a Mastiff/Dane mix and husky/heeler mix, both are adults and won’t grow any bigger. Please share, I have dad’s contact info since he is still located here and they are with him. He would keep them if he didn’t travel so much for work.

Kaia’s family had the opportunity to go to one of the states that is not connected to the main land. Can we guess where they are for another week? Hint 🌺🧉🏝️

I know she misses them, our staycation has been wonderful and fun of on shore entertainment; ball, belly rubs, coffee on the patio, sunsets, snacks & repeat. The Kitty Field Mouser Supervisors are on point & close by, like to alternate who is laying on the lid. 😹🐈🐈‍⬛ (thankfully haven’t “gifted” me any of they’re hard work)

This week is going to be a hot one I think. Currently 83. Ro and Riker enjoy the outside and the cool inside. Floor and for Ro,floor vent, are a great way to cool down. I put some ice cubes in their water bowls also.

Heat stroke in our pets is something to be aware of now that Mother Nature is getting back on track with seasons in Kansas. Keep an eye on your furry friends.

One family off to CO for the week for vacation, the other to Manhattan for the day to celebrate a family member Graduating at KSU. I am enjoying the Saturday with these three, Snoop Dog (Great Pyrenees/Bassett Hound Mix), Riley (Hound Mix I believe) Tucker, (Gold Retriever puppy) He got all “tuckered” out after playing ball 🎾. Trying to give his older brother a brake and he can be the play ball supervisor instead. 🤣
