When a pet is diagnosed with a treatable, but life-threatening condition or disease and the owners are unable to fully afford the necessary critical care, we will help.

Using FREE pallets, we created a predator safe-house with a water proof rubbermaid tote inside. Holes cut in both ends and filled with thermal poly blankets... straw would work well too. New prototype.. we'll see how it goes...

UPDATE 9/15/23 Jimmy is doing much better today fkeas invaded his ears. I think I got them gone. He’s a smart little guy. UPDATE: Jimmy is 12 weeks old. Has worms & Chicken Fleas” never heard of this. Ugly things under microscope. Causing anemia. Had 1st vaccination and dewormed and flea meds. ALL on this tiny 2.5 lbs little body. Lots of pelvis bruising. Very thin and dirty. Her hip is back in place and been keeping her quite all the time. Her walking is improved when out for potty breaks. She is eating several times a day and showing signs of weight gain. I brushed her and damp wiped her but didn’t want to attempt a bath yet. This Little girl is a true survivor. #GivingTuesday2021 Please consider a donation to help not only with this Little ones recovery but for all those to come. Our Story

Forgiving Paws, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, founded to raise funds to support the life-saving work of animal shelters and rescues. Our goal is to partner with other like-minded 501(c)(3) organizations. Forgiving Paws Thrift Shop is our primary source of ongoing fund raising. Prior to doing pet rescue under the name Forgiving Paws, Maggie Lairson was a Pug breeder. After losing her Pug family in November 2006, to a pet food recall*, and unable to save her own pugs, she began her pet rescue mission. She found that funding was always an issue for other rescues as well as her own. After doing several years of garage sales, it became apparent this could be a great source of ongoing funding. With that in mind, her dream of a permanent store front seemed to be the solution for her fund raising needs and Forgiving Paws Thrift Shop became a reality. Proceeds from the Forgiving Paws Thrift Shop will be used to support Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, Tiny Paws Pug Rescue, Pet Friends, The Hollister Animal Shelter and other Nonprofit Rescues. We have a request form for the public to help with Spay & Neuter (SPUTER FUND) and also a Helping Paws program. Forgiving Paws Thrift Shop is managed completely by generous volunteers.
