Decided to put these two back together. They were paired up for few months and she showed all the signs of ovulating. Swelling up, lost interest in food, lived on the heat, male lost interest. Not sure what happened but my early February I suspected she wasn’t actually gravid so we’re going for round 2. 😂 . . Never going to stop talking about how much I love having some of the hides on the top of the cages. Since switching to these hides for the cool side of the cage, the boas are almost always in them. Most of them like to hang out like this which is super fun to see. I only did this for the males and the CA females. I have one male BI who is around 6ft that just barely fits into his hide. I wasn’t able to do this for my larger females because there isn’t enough room in their cages to be able to slide the hides out.
