Alycia is going to be at the NAPS annual meeting this year. It would be great if you could join us! Whether you’re interested in getting your first Pudelpointer or you already have one this is a great opportunity to see a variety of dogs and interact with them as well as meet new people and breeders. Hope you can make it.

The North American Pudelpointer Society will host our Annual Meeting in conjunction with a friendly competition for versatile hunting dogs this coming March 8th-9th in Tignall, GA. This event will include a Saturday morning training session led by trainer Rich Louter, followed by the Peach State Shootout Saturday afternoon. Sunday will include small group training opportunities followed by the NAPS Annual Business meeting. Fellowship with like minded people will be mixed in as well. These are great opportunities to meet other Pudelpointer owners and their dogs. Open to all. Follow the links for more details.

Better late than never. I had originally posted Stella's birthday on the 10th of July but realized my mistake (thanks to a friend) and deleted the post. I thought I just had her birthday wrong but I actually had whose birthday it was wrong.

So happy belated birthday to all of Evony's E Litter pups! Their birthday was July 10th and I totally missed it.

In May of 2020, we dropped Evony off with Jeff George to be bred to Fin. We picked her up in June in the middle of a cross-country move to Oregon. When this litter was whelped on July 10th, I was back in DC handling the sale of our Maryland house, all the dogs were living with my parents in Oregon, and Mike had to make a 5 hour drive to their house from where he was working and living in our trailer to be there for the whelping which my mom and dad helped out with. We didn't close on a house in Oregon until October that year and these pups didn't sell fast like normal. Some of them we had until nearly Christmas, but my parent's yard was a wonderful playground for them to grow up in. All of the chaos makes for some great memories but oddly, I don't seem to have a lot of photos of these guys. Anyway, that's the story of the E litter. I hope they are all living their best lives out there. Happy Birthday!

The weekend testing celebration continues with our I Litter pups!

Three pups from our litter with Juniper Creek’s Evony Pine x VC Ripsnorter’s Slate tested and prized in their Natural Ability test over the weekend.
Lone Pine’s Iko Grizzlybär (Grizzly) earned a 112 Prize 1
Lone Pine’s Innis (Jett) earned a 110 Prize 1
Lone Pine’s Irish Mist (Foxy) earned a 105 Prize 2
That makes 7 pups out of 9 in our I Litter tested with 5 Prize ones and 1 prize 2!

I will be running our girl, Ember, a 2nd time in a couple weeks to try to earn her a spot in the prize 1 club after a rough test a few weeks ago resulting in a no prize.

Thank you to Jake, Brianna, James, Sarah, and Jason for putting in the work to make our pups look so damn good! Congratulations on a great accomplishment!

To all our buyers who have tested our pups, over the years, your efforts with these pups are what helps us to continue improving our breeding program.

We are absolutely thrilled with the progeny of Evony’s final litter. While we are sad to see Evony retire from our breeding program we are excited for the future of her line.

What a weekend for Lone Pine pups! Lone Pine’s Glennie Grace (Josey) earned a 178 in her Utility test! She is the second Lone Pine pup to be tested in Utility. She is out of our litter with Lone Pine’s Commanding Presence x Stone Pine’s Bodo. Thank you Russ and Teresa for doing such an amazing job with this beautiful girl!

Juniper Creek’s Evony Pine: RETIRED. Evony is going on 8 years old now and after 4 wonderful litters we made the decision to retire her and had her spayed this past week. Her progeny report is pretty great and in her final litter 7 out of 9 pups should be tested NA. 4 have already tested and 3 earned Prize 1 scores. We had a setback a couple weeks ago with one of the pups we kept but we are working on redemption with another test scheduled in 2 weeks

As ridiculous as it looks the onesie works great for keeping her from messing with her stitches.

We have kept 2 pups from her final breeding with VC Ripsnorter’s Slate to carry on her line and are looking forward to the future with our first Stud from Evony.

Lone Pine had its first cover model in the VHD in May. Congrats to Jack for being so photogenic and Paul for being a great agent/publicist! Jack is from our J litter with Lone Pine’s Commanding Presence by Ripsnorter’s Dauntless Dude.

Hey all. It’s been a while since we caught up on our page! This lovely lady from the H Litter, Lone Pine’s Honesty aka Koda, earned a 112 in her Natural Ability test in April. Koda is from our Ripsnorter’s Double Dog Dare by Marshland’s Pirate Phil litter. Her family put in the work and has done an amazing job with her. Congrats Steve and Darci! We appreciate your efforts!
