I am excited to announce the opening of Charleston Veterinary House Calls, an elite service offering the highest quality veterinary care to dogs and cats in the comfort of their home. Veterinary medicine is not just something I do, its apart of who I am. I feel so blessed to be able to offer this unique service to our pet-friendly community.
The Core Values for Charleston Veterinary House Calls are to offer personalized, comprehensive examinations while focusing on goal-directed, veterinary care and support. I plan to uphold the highest standard of care making sure there is continuity of care with other veterinarians that are involved in the companion’s care including general practitioners and specialists. I am confident that my veterinary knowledge, skills and professionalism will allow me to gain the trust of my clients ensuring the best veterinary care is provided. By educating clients on their companion’s health, providing multiple options of short-term and long-term care, and maintaining a healthy Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship, my priority is to ensure always that we are all committed to the same goals of veterinary care.
Charleston Veterinary House Calls will offer comprehensive examinations specifically pertaining to the pet’s life stages such as Pediatric, Wellness and Geriatric. In contrast to many general veterinary practices where a twenty-minute office visit/physical exam fits with their setup, my services will include specific consultations lasting from 20 minutes to 90 minutes based on the needs of the companion and their caretaker. These include consultations on Quality of Life, Hospice and Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, Allergies, Behavior and Nutrition. I will also be offering routine services such as lifestyle consultation for vaccinations, full laboratory services through Idexx, at-home delivery of prescription medications, and compassionate in-home euthanasias.
I can offer a variety of services while meeting the client’s need of convenience and supporting stress-free visits for both the companion and caretaker. I believe a more relaxed environment allows for a stronger bond of the Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship and ultimately better care for my patients.
All services will be performed inside the clients’s home. Visits are limited to non-emergency visits and minor injuries. Sick visits are offered; however, treatment options are limited. This is where I will rely on clients maintaining a relationship with a local veterinary practice and/or emergency and specialty hospitals to provide further diagnostics like X-rays and surgical procedures, hospitalizations. We are now fortunate to have four 24 hour Emergency facilities - Charleston Veterinary Referral Center in West Ashley and Veterinary Specialty Care in North Charleston, Summerville and Mt. Pleasant. I will work closely with other veterinarians in the area as well to provide my patients with the best care possible.
I am so very grateful for any referrals for those in need of in-home care for their pet. The growth and success of this practice depends on my clients and I can't do it without them sharing my practice with others. I will be serving mostly the greater Charleston Area but will happily extend my scope within 30 miles of Charleston. My fees will be based on the scope of the examination and the travel distance to your home. I do not have a fee list posted on my website but I will gladly give you an estimate upon request. Plus social media is such a fun way to celebrate our love for our fur babies and to connect with others in our community.

Saturday and Sunday- Closed
