Over the years there has been much thankfulness expressed for fostering the many Sighthounds here at The Whippet Spaw. These guests are often shut down, aggressive, confused, attention seeking and often flight risks.
The true hero’s of fostering are the Spaw Residents who share food, favorite toys, beds and Me with these travelers on their way to a new future.
Sweety (10 year resident) & Jackie (8 year resident) continue to share their forever home with the Travelers with grace. Both Girls were rescues from Kauai Hawaii They are the best Whippet Mixes - Ever! 💓 (Jackie is Whippet/ Airedale and Sweety is Whippet/ German Shorthair Pointer)

We are caring for a special guest 💓Senorita Ami is fostering here until she goes to her new USA home. Ami aka Chica is a Galga from Spain and arrived via The Bluebird Sanctuary The Sanctuary at Bluebird Lane
We are brushing up on our Spanish skills 🤔 as she is fluent. Welcome Sweet Galga to The Whippet Spaw 🐾

We had a surprise tailgate party in the Whippet Spaw’s driveway🐾 Olwyn & her 7 Hocus Pocus puppies stopped by. They are adorable and all so flashy.

🌺Hula Girls Miki and Mahina have joined us for the weekend. Both whippet mixes were adopted through Kauai Animal Wefare Society KAWS many years ago and have enjoyed many Whippet Spaw visits.

Happiness is no p*e stains at The Whippet Spaw. Jordan at All Oregon Carpet Cleaning found all the p*e spots with his black lite and steamed away. Steamed the sofa and the infamous Zebra chair. First Whippet to mark the 🦓 chair is “it”! And for a change, I got a 🍪 cookie! *e

In light of the unfortunate drama created over the weekend, I am sharing an update for those who called and wrote their concern to us in Oregon.
More information will be obtained and shared. BUT there was/is NO Oregon Canine pneumonia epidemic in the Willamette Valley of Oregon contrary to what a certain celebrity individual has posted.
