Pet Sitting All Precious Pets I visit your pets in your home, and love them like my own children. I started pet sitting in 2003 and have loved so many wonderful babes--as I call them.

I met them when they were born and took care of them when they were old--I loved them at all ages. I visit pets in your home. I feed them, walk them or let them out, clean their kitty litter and play with them. I travel 5 miles to your home and must charge more for gas to go farther.

In case you didn't know, Target is offering a Thanksgiving meal for about $20 including turkey, a bottle of gravy, box of Stove Top stuffing, cranberry sauce (canned), a 5 lb bag of Russet potatoes, cream of mushroom soup and and canned green beans. Order before they are gone.

I'm devastated to learn of the passing of a mentor, dear friend, colleague, radio legend, and good buddy, Lee Alan. Whether he was on WKMH or WXYZ, he was "On the Pakistani horn" to all us 50s & 60s kids, bringing the stars of Motown, the Beatles, and even one crazy night with Chuck Berry, fresh out of prison, Lee personally driving him to the Walled Lake Casino for his first live show. I was there, that night and many others. With Joel Sebastian, he truly ruled the Detroit radio world, before the days of folks like J.P. and Dick Purtan. I wound up spinning his theme song and the many records, the famous stars of the day lip-synched on the Club 1270 tv show. We played touch football together with Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones in the back yard when one of the station's videotape machines took a couple hours off. Lee was always his voice ... It was just there, and so much more with it. Rest now my brother, damn didn't we have some great times!

After the news that a school banned a child with autism from participating in a school trip I feel the need to write this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthdays for example. There are kids who want to belong to a team but don't get selected because it's more important to win than include these kids. Children with special needs are not weird or strange, they just want what everyone else wants: to be accepted!! 😡Can I ask a question??. Is anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing, like I did for a friend? they also need full love and support.

I have had many CPR classes over the last 14+ years but was never told this…..

When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna do ?
A rarely good post that can't be shared often enough:
1.
Take a two minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.
2.
You are really tired and frustrated.
All of a sudden your chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.
3.
Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..
4.
Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.
5.
How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.
6.
But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.
7.
Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment
8.
Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.
9. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.

An old couple went to breakfast at a cafe where the “seniors' special” was two Eggs, Bacon, Hash Browns, and Toast for £3.99. “Sounds good,” the wife said…“but I don't want the eggs..” “Then, I'll have to charge you £5.49 because you're ordering a la carte,”…the waitress warned her.
“You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?”…the wife asked incredulously. “YES!”… stated the waitress.
“I'll take the special then,”…the wife said..
“Great…how do you want your eggs?“…the waitress asked.
“Raw and in the shell,”…the wife replied.

She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.

Moral of this story:

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:-Knowing when to come in out of the rain; - Why the early bird gets the worm;- Life isn't always fair; - And maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies, don't spend more than you can earn and adults, not children, are in charge. His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights,I Want It Now,Someone Else Is To Blame,I'm A Victim.Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, do nothing.

Our Story

I started pet sitting in 2003 and have loved so many wonderful babes--as I call them. I met them when they were born and took care of them when they were old--I loved them at all ages. I visit pets in your home. I feed them, walk them or let them out, clean their kitty litter and play with them. I live in Walled Lake and will travel 5 miles to your home and must charge more for gas to go farther.

I visit your Kozy Kitties in their own home. I feed them, I clean up after them and I play with them. They know when I am coming because they wait at the window for me. I always tell the pets to watch the house when I leave and they do.
