Patsy Feeney Brousseau
My husband, Terry Brousseau, passed away on February 21st. This is a beautiful tribute his little brother, Kevin, made:
My older brother Terrance “Terry” Timothy Brousseau passed last Thursday. He was 7 years older than me. I am the baby of 13 children. He was #8. As a child, everything revolved around sports and being competitive. As many know our home as children was set up like a sports park. It was awesome. I’ll never forget those days. Terry and I were always teammate. He taught me to play so many sports and to be competitive as possible. Whether it be football, softball, pool, riding bikes, trampoline, swimming , diving, boxing, rubberband wars, you name it, we did it all. As a man, he showed me the definition of grace. He hole heartily loved his life. Whether it be his son, grandsons, step-sons or his awesome wife Patsy, and their many friends, they always felt his love.❤️
As a successful Restaurateur, Charter Boat Captain and National Chesapeake Hunting Dog Trainer, or Gem Stone Carver, he was loved and beloved by so many far and wide..
On a personal note, the last few day have been a little numbing. Cancer sucks as we all know. Thank the stars for Hospice. This awesome service ensures life ending care can be dignified and peaceful. Hospice allowed those who loved him, his wife Patsy, his son Jacques, his grandsons, awesome step-children, along with my brother Johnny, his wife Debbie and my brother Brian in Baton Rouge to assist him to walk through such a difficult time with dignity and grace. I am in awe of all of them all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at Rabenhorst Funeral Home on Government Street in Baton Rouge with visitation beginning at 10 and the service at 11:00. His obituary should be on the Rabenhorst website later today or tomorrow and will also be published in the Advocate. ❤️
