Looking to adopt a solo cat? Chrysanthemum/Chrissy is available for adoption, and will be at our adoption event at Petco Schaumburg (60 E. Golf Rd) Saturday 1/25 from 10:30-2:30. Join her, and other adoptable cats and kittens.
Want to know more about Chrissy? Read on or check out the video as she has a great story, only fitting for a great girl!
Chrysanthemum was found outside in south Florida when her fosters took her in. The rescue in Florida was more equipped for dog placement, and they had a really hard time finding her the perfect home down there, so when her fosters moved back to Illinois, they took her with and FFF agreed to help out and keep looking for that special home for her.
Chrissy is a unique girl, and needs space at first to do everything on her own terms. Once she gets to know you, she is all cuddles and sweetness. She is beautiful and regal, but still very playful when she gets in the mood. Wand toys are her fave and she even steals them when she’s done playing with you. She’s loves squeeze up treats, and will do anything for them!
Don't miss out on this gorgeous girl!

All good things must come to an end. Are you sure? Even adopting the animaniacs? Yes, yes. Eventually, all of the animaniacs will be adopted. BUT you have one last chance!
Start the chant - Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
Rudy and his littermates came to FFF from Chicago Animal Care and Control, lovingly nicknamed the Animaniac litter. He is the last of his brothers to be available for adoption!
Could this ginger boy be your forever animaniac? See more about him in the video, and read more about him below!

Neo came to Forever Fortunate Felines from Chicago Animal Care and Control on New Year's Day after his owner had passed away. We were happy to give him a new start to 2025.
He seemed to be doing well, but took a turn on Saturday. We took him to our hospital partner, Oak Elm, to help him get better for 2 days. He is back at his foster home now, and looking handsome! As long as his health continues on the upward trend, he will be posted for adoption in the next week or so!
We are so thankful for our supporters! If you would like to contribute to his care, please visit catsfff.org/donate.
Gordo
We recently welcomed Gordo to Forever Fortunate Felines.
Gordo was a neighborhood stray that a kind foster took in once she realized how friendly he was. He was in rough shape but with the rescue's support, he is on his way to being a perfect indoor cat!
If you are able to support his care via a donation be it $1 or $10, we would be so appreciative! Every cat matters!

Such a happy, happy Friday! Our hearts are full. Finch/Kris Kringle has found his forever home, or really his forever family found him!
Thanks to the support of donations and our intake network, Finch/Kris Kringle was saved from Chicago Animal Care and Control on Christmas Eve. He was given a deadline that same day to find placement, or be euthanized. We are forever thankful for our supporters and volunteers who have given him this chance at the happiest of lives, and for his forever family taking him home next week.
Every cat matters! 💜
It is so hard when CACC gives us deadlines. Luna's was rough today as they gave under 2 hours notice.
To start off 2025, we saved two cats today from Chicago Animal Care and Control. We will share updates on them as they continue their journey with us. Check out more about Luna!
