Amari came into MARL this afternoon to look for a cat after many weeks of considering and thinking about adding a pet to her home. She saw Tri-pod on our website and ultimately decided that he was exactly what she was looking for! He will be an inside only cat and we are confident that he will be well cared for. Tri-pod was originally brought to us as a stray with one of his front legs missing. He is still able to enjoy jumping, walking, and trotting around. By the time our adoption process was completed, Tripod was fast asleep in Amari’s lap. When she moved, Tripod was following right behind her. Amari and a friend that came to visit us with her stayed a little after the adoption had been completed just to give the other cats and kittens some much needed love and attention.

Meet Susu! Susu is a 2-year-old shepherd mix that was brought to us as a stray. She is a fast learner and super sweet! If you sit down with her, she does try to crawl in your lap or rub her head against your arms. She takes treats very gently and is, overall, a great dog. Her adoption fee is $130 which includes updated vaccines, her spay surgery, and a microchip.

Meet Zena! Zena is a 1-year-old heeler mix that was surrendered to us. She does appear to be housebroken and dog friendly. She has a lot of energy and is incredibly smart and knows several command. We believe she will do great in a home with someone that can provide her with plenty of mental and physical challenges. Her adoption fee is $130, which includes updated vaccines and a microchip.

Meet Mischief! Mischief was surrendered to us by her previous owner due to financial constraints. She is 1 year old and, despite her name, she is very sweet and affectionate. She will rub all over your hands for hours if she could! In particular, she is a fan of gentle scratches under her chin and on her chest. Her adoption fee is $130, which includes updated vaccines, a microchip, and her spay surgery.

She is super friendly, loves to be held, loves to give kisses, playful, and gentle when taking treats. Just look at this handsome boy! Bruno was turned in as stray and is about 3 months old. There is some Shepherd in his background for sure. Bruno was adopted Saturday by a great family. We are so very excited for the Vanlandingham family. Bradley, wife Amanda and their precious daughters fell in love with Bruno. He will be an inside dog but has a big yard and two girls of his own for a lot of play time and ball tossing. Thank you Vanlandingham family for choosing Bruno and for visiting MARL.
