Handsome Koda was brought to MARL when his person could no longer keep him. At only a year old, he still has a lot of puppy energy. Koda was adopted by Keshante Johnson recently. Keshante reports that this sweet boy is doing great. He is an inside dog and sleeps in mom's room. He also has a fenced yard for his puppy energy. Best of all, Keshante is home most of the time so Koda gets a lot of attention from mom. Thank you so much Keshante for adopting Koda. He is a great dog!

Bear was brought in by his person because they were moving to Japan. Bear is a longhair Chihuahua and is 5 years old. He is such a good boy. Douglas Garriga is retired and was looking for a buddy to keep him company and Bear was just the type of dog he was looking for. Douglas wanted a small dog past the puppy stage and there sat Bear in our adoption room waiting for his new person. The perfect match for them both. Douglas said he will have lots of toys, of course be an inside dog and alone only a few hours when he is out. Bear is going to love being the center of attention and having someone home most all the time. Thank you so much Douglas for adopting this sweet boy. What a great new home for Bear!

The Pace family adopted this cute 14 week old Lab mix. This sweet boy is going to have so much fun with his new family. At home is canine brother, Avery, a 14 year old Lab and Snowball an 8 year old cat. All of the Pace animals live inside and the dogs have a backyard with a privacy fence for safe potty and play time. Best of all, they are alone only about 4 hours a day, just enough time for a good nap. Thank you so much Pace family for choosing this sweet puppy to become part of your family. The Jacobs family came to MARL to adopt a puppy. They are experienced dog owners but lost their last two dogs to age related issues. They wanted their adorable son Zion to grow up with a puppy. They wanted something a little bigger and chose a very sweet female Lab mix about 3 months old. Their new puppy was loving those hugs from mom and was not too interested in the camera. The puppy will be inside and has a safe yard with a privacy fence for a lot of running an playing with Zion. Look at this handsome boy! His name is Kamma and there is some Siamese in his family tree. He was brought in by his previous person because they said they had too many cats. He was already neutered and just waiting on his new family. Brooke Verucchi and her daughter came to adopt a cat and fell in love with this sweet boy. Who could resist those beautiful blue eyes? Kamma will be an inside cat. Someone is home most of the day so he will have plenty of company. Pictured is Brooke's sweet daughter. Looks like she and Kamma are already best friends. Ellie Mae is such a sweet, loving girl. She was brought in by one of our animal control partners. She had no chip or ID and no one called looking for this precious pup. Ellie Mae's happy ever after happened last Tuesday when the Oliver family stopped by to visit. They were looking to expand their fur family and wanted a good fit for their 9 year old Beagle mix, Lulu. Ellie Mae is about 5 years old and we think they will be a great match. Their pets are inside and the dogs have a doggy door to their fenced yard. Also at home are the Oliver cats, Thor and Apollo, inside cats. Homer was brought to us as a stray. He had no ID or chip and no one called for this sweet boy. Homer appears to have some Jack Russell Terrier in his family tree. Lorriane Johnson stopped by looking for a small dog for inside and that would be a good playmate for her children. Jack Russells can be pretty active so their privacy fenced back yard will be a safe place for Homer and his new kids to play. Thank you Lorraine adopting Homer and for adopting from MARL.

Adopted!!!! Adoption story to be posted soon! Twilight has news for you! She’s a star, a TV star. (In her mind at least)! Twilight was considering a career in the news but, realized she needs to grow up first. Twilight was found at WJTV and was a little nervous from all the excitement. She is becoming a complete love bug now and loves to play. Twilight is curious about the resident dog and quickly became playful with the resident cat in her foster home. Although she was a little shy at first, her confidence is growing daily. Twilight is nearly solid black but, has the shape of a half moon on her belly! At 10-12 weeks old, Twilight will have had 2 sets of vaccinations and is available for adoption. Please complete your application for her online. She will make her appearance at the shelter this Saturday and will be ready to go home to her approved family!

Sweet Sara is available for adoption! She is 11-12 weeks old and ready for her new home!!
