We had this cat come in as a stray. The gentleman didn't leave any information on the form, just his first name. All he said to me was it's a female and declawed, found on New or Old Orangeburg Rd., Sc.
So not much information to go on but I thought I would post in case.
She is not microchipped.

We still need fosters for Shiver and Willis.

Shiver- he is on insulin, so will need it 12hrs apart. He is sweet but can be grumpy at times. He is good with dogs, no kids. He is still at the vet being boarded, which is very costly.

Willis- needs his heartworm treatment, so afterwards he will need to stay calm for 8 weeks. He is a chill dog to begin with. The sooner he gets the treatment, the faster it kills the heartworms which are alive in his heart, causing damage. He is getting prevention, but that is a slow process to kill them off, which could take a year.

Please help if these sweet boys. We also need help with donations with Shiver still being boarded at the vet.

Update: Healing from eye surgery, will be at the vet until end of this week, 11-15. Thank you for all the donations, much appreciated.

Hi, I am new to Apl. My owners surrendered me because of a horrific eye injury. I was taken to Crossroads Vet where they had to remove the eye. I will be staying through the weekend. Once I get to Apl they will take pictures.

In the mean time, they need help with the vet bill. It will be pretty expensive, so any amount will help.

Hi I am Willis! I was pulled from Columbia Animal Services.

I need a foster for 8 weeks so they can treat my heartworms. I need to be in a calm environment.

A little about me, I am a happy boy even though my owners abandoned me for almost a month. I was so scared when I was found. But people at the shelter and now the rescue have shown me love. So if someone can help me, I will be a good boy and give tons of kisses. I am good with dogs and people. They would have to try me with cats.

Urgent plea!

Shiver needs a foster!

Shiver has been at the vet, his blood sugar needed managed. It was 600 when I got him back and he had lost a lot of weight. It is now normal and he gained a pound.
He is now in boarding at the vet. We cannot do the 12hrs at our place.

Can someone please foster him? We will pay for all food, supplies, and vet visits. I dont want him stuck in boarding and that is costly. He needs insulin given twice a day, 12hrs apart.

Shiver is a Jack Russell/beagle mix. He likes other dogs. He does need a home without kids.

Please, please reach out so he can get into a home.

Update on Phoenix. I picked her up on Tuesday, Nov. 1st. She is doing well. She is up walking around and eating small meals. She has a long way to go, but we will get her filled out and healthy. Sarabi deserves a home

Sarabi is ready for a home. She has been at Apl for about 3 yrs. She is around 8 yrs old, good around other cats. She did not show her true personality at Apl. She stayed in one spot and did not move. I brought her home to foster and she loves to be petted and shows so much affection. All she wants to do is be around people. She has a lot of love to give. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and recently had a dental. Our adoption fee is $125. If you are interested in adding her to your family please visit www.aplsc.org to fill out an application. I would love to finally see her in a home. Then I can foster another cat like her that is not doing the best in the Apl environment.
