At Ironheart our goal is fourfold. to produce dogs with proper conformation, athleticism, intelligence and most importantly stability of temperament.
Ironheart American Staffordshire Terriers was established in 1990. We are a small kennel & our dogs live as members of our family. Ironheart breeds to the AST standard recognized by the AKC in 1936. Our goal is fourfold: to produce dogs with proper conformation, athleticism, intelligence and - most importantly -stability of temperament. Our emphasis is on studying the great dogs of the past, and using information and techniques gleaned from this study to create great dogs for the future.
