🎆🐾 This 4th of July, let’s keep our furry friends safe from the noise! Fireworks can be scary for pets. Here’s how you can help:

1) Keep pets indoors 🏘️
2) Provide a calm space with familiar items 💤
3) Consider background noise like the TV or soothing music to distract them 🎶
4) Microchip your pets in case they get scared and run

With all that happened last week and over the weekend, please make sure your pets are Microchip'd. And if they already are, make sure the information is up to date. There are many places you can contact to check your pets Chip number to make sure the information is up to date.

With all this rain that we've been getting, darn Mosquitos, it can make you think. Five years ago we started this page, because of a need. We do not want to ever have to use it for that again.

We highly recommend having not only your own Hurricane Preparation Kit, but also your Animal's kits ready as well. Also, please get them microchip'd. And if they're already chip'd make sure the information is up to date.

We have been lucky this year, so far. But it is Texas, and it still is hurricane season.
Please take the time to have your pet microchip'd.
And if they are already microchip'd, please make sure the information is up to date.
It can make the difference between getting your pet back, or not.

And as of September 1, 2021 it is a law that all shelters and rescues are to scan for microchips upon intake.
