As the holidays approach, many pets are at higher risk for pancreatitis, a painful inflammation of the pancreas. This condition is often triggered by sharing fatty foods like turkey skin, gravy, or other indulgent human treats. Pets with pancreatitis may show signs such as vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, and abdominal pain.

Prevent pancreatitis in pets by:
Feeding a balanced, vet-approved diet
Avoiding table scraps and fatty human foods
Exercising your pet to maintain a healthy weight
Keeping the trash and food out of your pet’s reach
Avoiding sudden diet changes

Pancreatitis can be life-threatening. Early diagnosis and care can improve your pet’s chances of recovery! If you suspect your pet may be showing signs of pancreatitis, call us right away at [PHONE NUMBER] to ensure your furry friend stays healthy and well this holiday season and beyond.
