Black Powder Kennel We have a love of Black Russian Terriers & Chinese Cresteds. We show both & occasionally have litters. Veteran owned and operated.

Both Ben and Tessa are veterans and Ben is a disabled veteran.

Okay folks...time to rally the troops - this guy is available to the right home. This is Grendel and he is 2.5 years old. He is a littermate of Chance, Nemi, Nefi & Shiloh. He is a sweet guy, but like they all do he has some quirks. He is a big guy and will continue filling out for another year or so. He likes all dogs (and sometimes he likes the girls too much - even if they aren't in heat 🙄). He likes kids and people too. Friendly guy, but he is still a BRT and will bark at the door. He does have a tendency to pull and could definitely use some obedience classes, so please factor this into your decision.

Please know, this is due to no fault of his own. Grendel's dad got really sick & is no longer able to care for him.

Ok folks - The Philadelphia ASPCA has 3 BRT's brought in from a neglect situation. They could use any help and the dogs need homes.

Thankfully this shelter has given these dogs better treatment than they've received in a long time. The boys have been neutered and shaved down. The Philadelphia ASPCA is a no-kill shelter and the staff have been wonderful with walking the dogs and giving them the attention they deserve. Please reach out to 215-426-6300 if you can help or want to adopt one of these dogs.

I also want to THANK the BRT Rescue and Chris Maduri for orchestrating the care for these boys and getting the word out to help them.

This is a FIFI post!!

Fifi came with us to Perry, GA at the Wonderland Cluster. She showed for 5 days. She won Winner's Bitch for her 1st point this week as well as Reserve Winner's Bitch and another 1st in her class and a couple of fun days in the ring.

I can't tell you how beyond proud I am of this little girl.

This boy is looking for a family to call his own. He is a happy & confident boy that will do well whether in the show ring or hanging out with the family.

Deeds loves to play with empty water bottles, slippers & every toy he can find. He enjoys eating cheese, treats & hamburgers! He thinks he owns the place wherever he goes & is comfortable doing his own thing. He is a sweet boy & will make a great addition to someone's family.
