Happy National Dog Day from Best Buddy Dog Trainer! We wanted to take a moment to introduce our wonderful dogs. Valentine, a five-year-old poodle mix, who lives and breaths fetch. Her sibling, Beni, also five and a poodle mix, loves swimming at the beach. And Dexter, our 1.5-year-old deaf pit/staffy mix who enjoys peanut butter snacks & car rides. We hope you're enjoying the day with your own special furry friends!

We had the honor of training some rescues at The Humane Society of Charles County and we had a blast! 🐱🐶

Did you know over 90% of the dogs in shelters have had NO FORMAL TRAINING and this is the main reason dogs get sent back - NO TRAINING and NO MANNERS so they get to what should be there forever home, they get comfortable, they get confident and they start acting like a dog 😜

That means they start jumping and barking and pulling on leash and doing things dogs do when they're excited 🔻

the owners don't know how to handle this 🤯

they may give it a few weeks but ultimately the dogs create too many problems and they cause too much destruction and the owners end up sending the dogs back 😭😭😭

when all the dog neeed was training 🙃🐶

so this is our fight ✊🏼This is our goal. This is what we are going to be doing at the Humane Society.

We can't wait to show you guys the results and if you guys are looking for a new puppy head over to the Humane Society Of Charles County - training in progress!😻🫣😜

Our goal is to sponsor a board and train for some of their residents that haven't had luck getting adopted.

We are SO EXCITED to announce Best Buddy Dog Trainer will be partnering with the Humane Society of Charles County!!! ❤😁Owner and Certified Dog Trainer, Jeff and Head Certified Dog Trainer, April, visited the shelter, saw our amazing dogs, heard their heart felt stories, and wanted to help them get adopted and have successful transitions into their Furever homes. How awesome is that??!!! 😍😍 They will be visiting regularly to have training sessions with our pups, starting with our longest residents to help get them adopted!!! We are so appreciative of their time and expertise!
Best Buddy Dog Trainer was founded by Certified Dog Trainer Jeff Causby, CTDI, ABCDT to help today's compassionate and devoted dog owners train & teach their dogs without using pain, force, or intimidation tactics. April not only trains dogs, she also has the experience training horses and cats.
