It is with sadness that I share this post. Rocky was Stitch’s sire and he also lived with us for a couple of years. Such a handsome and good boy!! Enjoy running free! You will be missed.

Thank you all for your help with Timber but it looks like he has a home!! Yay!! I know I can count on the Willow Springs family if ever another ridgeback needs a home. I did delete the post so as to not keep him listed. It was less confusing this way. Thanks again for everything! Timber sends his love.

John is done! After 7 weeks of treatments he finished his last chemo on Wednesday and walked out of radiation to his crew surprising him, yesterday. It has been a hard road but he battled as only he could. We still have a few years of regular CT scans to make sure that the cancer stays gone but we will weather all that is ahead knowing that he conquered this mountain. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and support. He would not be where he is today without it!! 🩷🩷🩷

We had a wicked storm roll through yesterday. Lost power for several hours but so far everyone has held up! 😂. Just relaxing this evening, except Clifford. He saw me sneak Sofie’s photo then jumped up to let himself in so Olive stole the bed! Mabel is in her favorite spot on the sofa, paws up.

Edit ** From my understanding this is a ‘newer’ strain of Parvo and seems to be attacking the lungs, along with similar parvo symptoms. Please be careful out there with your babies.

This is a not only a breeders worst nightmare but a dog owners also. Cassie’s animals are part of her family as ours are. She not only has Ridgebacks but she has rescues. Her vet is trying to save her babies without asking for a dime, very compassionate vet. If you can help please do. This just breaks my heart.

I am currently experiencing every pet owners worst nightmare … our family has been hit by Parvo… Cassi Parker needs your support for Thanking Dr. Mendoza DVM

Beware the day after the ides of March, or the leprechauns, for it will start off nice and warm and drop 25 degrees in an hour with the possibility of snow! Et tu Jack Frost! So everyone had to come in and cuddle. Sofie is a little put out when they all were on “her” sofa and she had to be on the floor. Oh the ridgeback life! Plus there was a passing pizza!

Snow Day! The younger kids had fun, the older doggos decided not to take part in the shenanigans. Of course they only ran around for about 20 minutes then wanted to come in! (They will want back out in 30 minutes.) Children! At least I don’t have to get snow gear on and off.

All the dogs are loving the new blankets from Paw.com. (They were on sale!!) Here is Mabel giving me the ‘You are not going to make me get out of the chair?’ face. Yes! These blankets are soft. 😂. We are waiting patiently for her to be ready for pups. Hopefully soon!! It is really quiet around the house with no pups! Need my puppy fix. 😝

The older doggos are ready for bed. They all enjoyed a bite of Turkey and are enjoying the lights of the Christmas tree. I figured while kids aren’t busy I would get it up! Maybe get it decorated before Christmas.
