Registration for the April 2024 Rabies Clinic is now available!

A limited number of spots are available, so be sure to sign up in advance. Registration must be completed for each pet individually and can be found on our website at calvertcountyanimalshelter.com.

This is a drive-thru clinic. A limited number of distemper vaccines may be available upon request. If your pet has a prior rabies certificate, bring it with you if you want your pet to get the three-year rabies vaccine. All pets must be adequately contained on a leash or in a carrier.

The Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter is offering an adoption package that includes age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, spaying/neutering and microchipping. Additionally, all adopters during this promotion will receive a personalized Valentine’s Day card expressing the shelter’s thanks for choosing adoption and making a difference in the life of a shelter pet. Not only will you help by clearing out the shelter, but you can celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most heartwarming way possible by receiving love and gratitude from your new furry companion.

Happy New Year! We truly hope your new year is starting off better than ours. Unfortunately our building is out of water and the soonest we can have our well diagnosed is tomorrow morning so we will have to be closed for the day tomorrow 1/2/23. Hopefully we will be able to update everyone then on when we will be able to open back up. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
