It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our beloved K9’s Gino, who served our department with unparalleled loyalty and bravery. K9 Gino was not only an exceptional partner but also a cherished member of our law enforcement family.

During his time with us, K9 Gino assisted in countless operations, saving lives, apprehending suspects, and keeping our community safe. He was a symbol of dedication, courage, and the bond we share with our K9 partners.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Wade and Paige Milyard and their family during this difficult time, and we are grateful for the time Gino spent protecting and serving by our side.

Thank you for joining us in remembering and honoring K9 Gino’s contributions to our department and community.

To my good friend Wade, I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with you and Gino by my side.

Optimum K9 Training, LLC is owned and operated by a highly experienced, well-respected 13-year veteran police officer in the State of Maryland possessing a Master Trainer certification with the United Police Work Dog Association.

At Optimum K9 Training we believe that owning a pet is an amazing and rewarding experience, but also a responsibility, not a luxury. Training your pet properly will lead you to a greater understanding of the animal, with the owner-pet relationship being one of mutual understanding and respect.

We offer training for dogs of all sizes. From the companion dog, personal protection dog, and police dog.

Our programs include two-week board and train, private, puppy, group, refresher, and owner-dog programs within the Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania area.
