Adopter Update: They have completely changed us into cat people, they are the first cats we have owned. Pricilla however is an old girl and has chronic kidney failure but is under the supervision of the vet and being taken care of with pain management and other medications. It’s been about a year now and they are the most loving great pets. Pumpkin was renamed Patrick and him and our 3 yo are best friends to the point where he hears his voice come into the house and will greet him at the door. He has such a personality. Pricilla has been nothing but loving. We were nervous rat first because it took some months to get her to come out of hiding but now you actually can’t sit anywhere without her sitting in your lap.

This is Jake. He is an older kitty who has been through a lot of medical issues. We are looking for either a forever home for the time he has left or a hospice foster. He possibly has a mass in his nasal cavity, but if he does, he would not be able to go through that kind of surgery so we are not sending him to even find out. That being said he may or may not be Hospice and he may or may not be around for a longer period. He was shutting down in the building. One of our employees took him home for a few nights, and he totally came out of his shell and tried to sleep on her head. He is a lap cat and just needs love. Your donations at work....We took in the largest number of any year to date. Numerous kittens and cats are ready for adoption while there are quite a few waiting to be vetted as they are not old enough or are getting stronger in preparation for full vetting. We take in many that are critical cases and those literally minutes from being put down elsewhere. We take the broken ones that have nowhere else to go and do our best to put them back together so that they ready to find loving families.

Anna Maria was a stray taken in by Beare Garden Animal Rescue. She is one year old, current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Anna Maria only has one eye but that does not slow this quiet girl from wanting her pets. She can be seen and adopted at PetSmart in Greenville NC.

Meet Coal our longest resident at Beare Garden Animal Rescue. He is a loving 2 year old black kitty who can’t get enough pets. Coal is FIV positive but otherwise healthy. For more information on FIV see our latest newsletter. Coal can be met and adopted at PetSmart in Greenville NC.

On Friday. All black or Black and white cats will have a $50 adoption fee. All are fully vetted. Visit us at Petsmart Greenville beginning at 0900 Friday.

S’More
S’More

S’more is a sweet 2 year old domestic medium hair calico kitty that came to Beare Garden Animal Rescue from the hoarding situation that was on the local news this summer. She has very soft fur and loves to be petted. She is up to date on vaccines, fixed and microchipped. S’more can be met and adopted at the PetSmart in Greenville NC.

Pick an ornament and buy one or more of the items listed. After purchasing at Petsmart make sure the receipt or paid sticker is attached and place it in the basket. There is much need at the rescue and in the community. Thank you for blessing our cats.
