The Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Horse Show Season begins next Sunday, April 21, 2024 with the Halcyon Spring Horse Show! The prizelist had to be held under multiple microscopes to be sure we were in compliance with United States Hunter Jumper Association - USHJA Outreach, Commonwealth Junior Amateur Invitational, Pennsylvania Horse Shows Association- PHSA Regional, and CPJHSA. Prizelist available in the comments. If you see an error, please let Barb know immediately so that it can be corrected.

As always, pre-entering online is FREE and there is never a scratch fee. Pre-entering gives us time to hire a second judge and adjust the schedule to everyone's benefit.

Food trucks are welcome or fundraising by food sales encouraged.

The Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Winter Finale is this Sunday, March 24! Start time is 9:00am. The first 20 entries will receive horse treats donated by 's Tackroom Treasures. Stalls are sold out. We need you to pre-enter so we can get the sections combined and post numbers. FREE online entering at horseshowing.com as well as the schedule and prizelist. This show is Regional, CPJHSA and Outreach. No fee to scratch.

Looks like good weather for Sunday but significant rain Saturday so we will be holding the show indoors.

Series Awards will be given in sections that ran at all three winter shows and the horse/rider must have done two shows. Thank you all for your understanding with regard to us having to change things up. 2024-2025 we will have at least 5 winter shows.

Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Holiday Horse Show is tucked in nicely during the Christmas break on Thursday, December 28! Grab all of your new gear and let's horse show! The weather is still holding out and it looks like it will be a mild day (for December). Free online entering on horseshowing.com United States Hunter Jumper Association - USHJA Pennsylvania Horse Shows Association- PHSA and CPJHSA.

Pre-entries are very much appreciated. Show schedule will be adjusted around pre-entered sections. Tentative schedule soon up on Horseshowing.com.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD....THESE ARE THE CORRECTED DATES FOR THE WINTER SERIES. I have had yet another ankle surgery (3rd in two years) looming and received word that it will be January 5 instead of late January. Would love to have a great show next Thursday and see everyone back March 3!

The Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Winter Premier is tomorrow! The schedule has been revised and sections with entries are permanently at the top of the schedule regardless of post entries. All sections are still being offered and schooling breaks will be added as necessary. These shows are United States Hunter Jumper Association - USHJA Outreach, Pennsylvania Horse Shows Association- PHSA Regional and CPJHSA.

The Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Winter Premier is next Sunday, December 3. Everything has been uploaded to Horseshowing.com. The shows are USHJA Outreach United States Hunter Jumper Association - USHJA and PHSA Pennsylvania Horse Shows Association- PHSA Regional. CPJHSA has been applied for but not confirmed.

We cover the fee for online entry so please help us out by entering online. No scratch fees. The schedule may be revised base on entries received. Please check horseshowing.com frequently for updated show information.

For each section, you must enter the class number that corresponds with the height you wish to jump. We have to do this for USHJA then we combine as per normal.

Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Summer Series July II Horse Show is tomorrow, July 26! Entries are great so we have adjusted the start time to 2:00pm. USHJA Outreach Recognized. Riders are eligible for USHJA Outreach Awards (rider memberships are free) and horses can be recorded for $25. We have forms in the show office. The A/C is on in the show office and complimentary water under the tent at the ring. Free online entering at Horseshowing.com.

We are adjusting the start time to 2:00PM and adding staff for tomorrow's show. Modified Hunters have moved up in the schedule ahead of the Outreach Equitation. Short Stirrup Equitation on the Flat will go before the over fences. Cross Rail and 18" Vertical sections will likely be combined.

On Horseshowing.com there is a pdf of the show schedule that is very easy to follow. If you haven't entered yet please reach out to us for enter or free on horseshowing.com.

Just a reminder that the Halcyon Farm, Ltd. Summer Series shows are United States Hunter Jumper Association - USHJA Outreach. Rider membership is free and horse registration is very reasonable. You will be eligible for awards and the USHJA Outreach Festivals.

Announcing the 2023 Halcyon Summer Series!!! This year's shows are qualifiers for the Zone 2 (NY NJ PA) USHJA Outreach Festival. These shows are low-key, exhibitory friendly horse shows that offer great footing, courses and jumps. Entry fees are only $20 per class and no grounds fee if you pre-enter! Online entering will soon be up on Horseshowing.com. The series awards will be presented after each section at the final show, The Harrisburg Horse Show on Saturday, August 26!

Our favorite leprechaun from Tackroom Treasures Lori Lehman brought a bag full of goodies for exhibitors at tomorrows horse show at Halcyon! Thank you!

The show is on! Not sure why folks won’t pre-enter even when all we ask is for a phone call. Beautiful weekend to hook up that trailer and get your season started.

Around 11 we would love to have a round table discussion about what exhibitors and trainers thoughts are competitively and discuss opportunities that are out there. Please attend even if you aren’t showing.

Our summer series has had some changes and we hope build it up to include more shows.

MID-PENN HORSE SHOW TOURNAMENT…stay tuned or come tomorrow and tell us what will make it work for you. Right now all 8 shows will be USHJA Outreach at zero cost to the exhibitors but provides opportunities for awards nationally.

2023 will be a building year but let’s work together to make it a win for all!

Time to start warming up for the spring and summer shows! We are offering a small winter series with lots of schooling breaks to minimize the amount of time everyone has to brave the elements.
