The kittens are ready!! We will have around 15 kittens at PetSmart tomorrow. Come and see which ones of our kittens like you. We will also have some adults. They are very sweet and they need homes also. Living in a cage is no life for a cat!

Duke has been adopted!!! I think this adoption is the highlight of my cat rescue. I'm so glad that he is out of a cage and into a home where he is already loved. Happy tails Duke.

Brianna is a very adventurous little lady who loves her brush time. She chases a laser light at high speeds! This sweety was born into a colony of Community cats but has made humans her furever friends! She loves a warm lap and a nice pet. She purrs away while falling over your feet! We have some foster to adopt kitties. This boy has had his first vaccine. He could use an inside home where he can learn how wonderful humans are.

Potsi is a mischievous little guy! He loves his laser light chase and watching you do all your chores. He is a very curious kitten with a heart of gold! He is very lovable and wants to be in your lap while wrestling with your hand! He is very vocal in the mornings telling you all about his night! This guy will be your best friend!

Silky arrived at Loving Hearts Cat Rescue with her adorable 6 black kittens. Right from the start she won our hearts. She is such a gentle, devoted and loving mother. Because of her example all 6 kittens are the same. From the day they arrived Silky was ok with letting us pick up and hold her kittens. She was also very observant and watched as her kittens got older and started learning new things. One day 1 kitten crawled out of the birth box, Silky was ok with that and made sure that she fed the kittens on the inside of the box as well as the outside. Silky loves all people and isn't afraid of anyone, dogs or other cats. She has a wonderful personality and is going to be a wonderful addition to her forever, inside home. We will miss her and hope that she gets to be part of a very special family who will love her as we do.

Muppet is long hair Torie that is shy at first but when she is feeling safe she opens right up. She became friends with Abra, who is blind. They came from the same home where their friendship evolved. They can often be seen sleeping next to each other and playing together. It takes Muppet extra time to adjust to her new surroundings so she needs a family who will be patient with her. Once she knows that she can trust you she becomes friendly and affectionate. We know that you will love her sweet personality.

Please consider these two as a bonded pair. Not a requirement, but they count on each other.

These two sweet almost 2-year-old kitties are once again looking for a forever home! Skye and Scout spent months as kittens with their foster mom and were very shy so it took them a long time to get adopted. They were in a nice home for a year but were surrendered when their people moved and couldn't take them. They are back with their foster mom and are ready to try again for a forever home.

Both Skye (female) and Scout (male) are siblings and are very shy cats, but there is not a mean bone in either of them. They are not a bonded pair and could be separated but they are already friendly with each other and would do well together. Both of them would do well in a home with other cats who are not bullies. They are both non-confrontational and don't seek out fights, instead preferring to mind their own business around other cats.

Skye is more skittish than her brother but is more active. She spends her time slinking through the house like a little ghost. Before you know it, she will appear silently by your side, and when she is comfortable enough with you she will let you pet and scratch her chin (her favorite thing!) She has a really nice purr and she secretly loves being held. She will curl up in your arms and purr. She might even surprise you by crawling into your lap! Skye loves to play and explore but she is a well-behaved housecat. Developing trust with Skye is incredibly rewarding. She is fine around kids since she is shy around everyone and will start interacting with people that she trusts.

Scout is still his foster mom's favorite foster EVER. His huge, sad green eyes will tug at your heartstrings! Scout is a true couch potato and is always seeking for a cozy spot to curl up for a nap, which might include your lap! Scout is very overweight and needs someone who will be diligent in helping him reach a healthy weight. He is recovering from a minor leg sprain but his mobility has greatly improved and weight loss will help him be more comfortable walking around. Scout does great with kids and will hang around after building trust. Scout does not explore like his sister. He is more shy but he is incredibly affectionate toward Skye and to the people he loves. His foster mom adores his personality and his “babyness.” Scout became very depressed after being placed in foster care again but his heart is healing. He truly deserves a loving home! Scout will meow a lot in a new environment but will stop when he gets used to his new place. Lickable treats are the fastest way to Scout's heart!

Skye and Scout had a very difficult time at adoption events so their foster mom Nicole would prefer an in-home meeting if you would like to meet them. She lives in Idaho Falls and can be contacted at (512) 730-9802.

Hi!! We`re Sylvester and Frankie. We were adopted from Loving Hearts about a year and a half ago by a really nice lady with purple hair. She was our mom. She was getting sick a lot and was gone for a week at a time, then home for less than a day and gone again. She went on hospice and our Auntie came to stay with us for five weeks. Then Auntie needed to go home so all of us moved to her house. It was fun there. She has SO many other cats.

Well, about two months ago our mom left and she isn't coming back. Auntie promised our mom that she would make sure we stayed together. She just has too many cats to keep us. She says we're really good kitties. We are through our crazy kitten stage, but we still have the just right amount of kitten in us. We love to romp and play for a while, but then we need a nice lap to sit on.

Auntie is going to send us off with a big bag of the food we are eating, a bag of the litter we've been using, some toys, and our bed.

Please don' 't even ask about splitting US up. Auntie made a promise to our mom and she will not break it!

Duke's human moved to Hawaii leaving Duke with Loving Hearts Cat Rescue. Her plan was to have him flown to Hawaii in 6 weeks from then. She tried but was not able to arrange it. So now Duke is house hunting and looking for a new family. You will never find a better cat than Duke. Everything about him is perfect. He loves wet food and Temptation treats. He loves playing with toys and playing fetch, but most of all he loves to cuddle. He used to lie on his human's lap for hours. She hopes he gets a family that is loving and nurturing as he adjusts to his new home and family. When he came to Loving Hearts Cat Rescue he showed no sign of an adjustment. In fact he acted like he had lived here for years. Duke is amazing with children but if he gets overwhelmed he will run and hide. He used to sit on his human's desk or lap as she worked from home. He is nervous around dogs but just takes a moment to get used to other cats. He doesn't like litter with a strong odor. He loves to be babied and does best if you sing to him while his claws are being trimmed. Duke loves very gentle forehead pets & kisses. His human misses him and hopes that he finds a home where he is loved as much as she ioves him

Auction Time!!!! We have this dog bowl with stand, a dog mat, chew toys, dog brush and a beautiful rock from Rocks 4 Paws Idaho . Bidding starts at $50. Please bid in increments of whole dollars. Auction will run through Sunday evening at 6:00 pm. The winning bid will help us with the busy kitten season we are in.
