I woke up this morning to rain and the forecast confirms wet weather for the rest of the day. Therefore the animals will be staying in and dry today and The Friendly Farm will be closed today. Tomorrow looks much more promising!!!

You're all invited to the dedication of our new barn tomorrow afternoon at 4:30. Admission will be free after 3:00PM Friday for everyone. It will be a short little ceremony so come and enjoy the the farm and animals beforehand. Bring your whole family and tell your friends and neighbors about this special event. I'm only putting this out on Facebook as all of you are our most loyal supporters!!

Finally, we are drying out and getting ready to open for our 61st season. Our opening day will be Friday, May 23rd. Once we open, we will be open everyday, weather permitting, until Sunday, September 21st. Most of last year's great help will be returning to once again give you and your family a memorable visit. I especially will enjoy seeing so many of you who first visited as children and now come as parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents. I am so grateful for the decision I made 49 years ago to buy this farm from my parents. I have been blessed with this great career and thank you all for your past and continued support of The Friendly Farm.- Bruce Fox

Five inches of snow came to The Friendly Farm on Thanksgiving Day and it looks like it's going to stay around for a while with these cold temperatures. But also arriving last week were our 2025 Junior Farmer T-shirts! You can see 3 of my grandchildren Owen (11), Noelle(8) and Felicity(3) modeling them. The annual Junior Farmer program has been a big success over the years. You can find out all the details on our website: friendlyfarm.com. I will ship out orders within 48 hours of receiving the order. They make a perfect Christmas gift!!!

🌥️ **A Perfect Day on the Farm Awaits!** 🌾

The weather's just right for a day at the farm—cool, cloudy, and no rain in sight! Yesterday, we finally opened the new slide in our barn, and it was a hit with the little ones.

Our 8 piglets are growing fast but are still as adorable as ever. With less than 4 weeks left in our season, now's the perfect time to visit and say hello to our friendly animals. There's plenty of farm work to go around—feed the goats and calves with milk bottles, cool off the pigs with a hose, throw some cracked corn to the birds, and even join me in my favorite task—scooping p**p!

Come on out and make some farm-tastic memories! 🐷🐮🐥
