As of right now, our office is planning on being open with limited staff tomorrow Saturday January 11th 2025 from 8am-Noon to help with your pet care needs. We will keep monitoring road conditions and post new updates if any changes occur. Please call our office at 931-645-7757 tomorrow if you need us during this time. Due to the expected arrival of snow and possible ice in the early morning hours and the anticipation of deteriorating road conditions throughout the day, Animal House will be closed Friday, January 10th 2025. We want to keep all of our clients, staff and furry friends safe. Closure may extend into Saturday hours, but we will be monitoring road and weather conditions throughout the day. Stay tuned for more information.

A few of our fabulous team members were able to attend an emergency and critical care continuing education today at the University of Tennessee. Pictured are Dr. Edwards, Dr. Stedman, and Sam & Meagan, two of our LVMT’s. We can’t wait to hear about all the things they learned when they return.

As vet tech appreciation week comes to a close we wanted to share our newest graduate of the vet tech program: Emma
She just graduated from the vet tech program at Vol State and recently passed her VTNE. Her favorite areas of vet med are surgery/anesthesia and large animal medicine. Emma first came to us as a student as part of her senior year clinical hour requirements and then joined our staff after graduation. We are so blessed to have Emma on our team and excited to see what her future holds.

Vet Tech Spotlight: Meagan
Meagan has been a licensed tech for 5 years. She received her vet tech degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Meagan’s favorite areas of vet med are surgery/anesthesia, hospital patient care and exotics. Meagan previously worked at the Univeristy of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and is passionate about education. Meagan brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and we are so lucky to have her here at Animal House!

Tech Spotlight: Brenna
Brenna has been in the veterinary field for almost 5 years and has been a licensed tech for the past 2 years. Brenna received her vet tech degree from North Dakota State University. Her favorite areas of med med are dentistry and hospital patient care. Brenna is an amazing member of our team. She is so kind and caring, always has a great attitude and is willing to jump in and help no matter the task. We are so blessed to have Brenna here at Animal House!

Sam has been in the veterinary field since 2019. She received her vet tech degree from Dallas College and is currently licensed in both Tennessee and Alabama. Sam is elite fear free certified and passionate about protecting her patients emotional wellbeing as well as their physical needs. We are so very lucky to have an animal advocate like Sam on our team!

Desiree has been in the veterinary field for 9 years, 7 of those years as a licensed tech. Desiree attended UT Martin for her vet tech degree. Desiree’s favorite area of vet med is surgery, anesthesia, emergency/critical care and exotics. She is an amazing asset to our team and we are thankful for her!

Molly has been in the veterinary field for many years. She worked for 18 years as a veterinary assistant and has been a licensed technician for 5 years now. Molly attended Murray State for her veterinary technician degree. Her favorite area of vet med is hospital patient care and small animal care. Her compassion for her patients is top notch and we are so blessed to have her on our team!
