So impressed with Halo today! His first time at Zilker. Before training, he would get so over excited anytime he saw another dog and pull on leash and bark. On a busy Saturday, he met lots of friends and maintained perfect obedience! So proud of him 😊

Stella’s last session with us before she heads off on her road trip! 😭 Her and her momma have been so great to work with, I’m going to miss working with them! Stella came to us with severe reactivity and anxiety but has been improving and is a much happier pup in in public!

Today was this cutie's first day training! He was a little unsure about the leash at first, but with enough encouragement and praise he was able to confidently walk and run on a lead with no issue! Way to go Parker! ❤️🐕

Look how cute this sweet boy is! Blue just started training with us and his mom is already so happy with the results! He just finished his boosters and this was his first time in public. Overall, he was very confident and curious! I can't wait to see how well he does after the training ❤️ 🐕

Meet Noodles! This big girl is only 4 months old and loves training! She was a little shy being in public at first, however she quickly grew to love how many things she can discover.

Now she has found confidence and her parents say that the training has been "an absolute game changer". We're all so proud of her progress!

This is why it's important to walk your dogs in the early morning or late afternoon when it's cool! If you're unsure of the temperature of the asphalt or cement, touch the back of your hand to the ground. If it's too hot for your hand for even a second, it's definitely too hot for them!

Such great progress made with this sweet girl! This is Daisy, her parents adopted her a couple months ago and were having issues with aggression and fear towards their other dog and their sons.

On our first two sessions, we first had to get Daisy acclimated to a leash, as she's only ever been in a harness, and didn't exactly do too well on her harness.

We also had to get her acclimated with me, as she was quite fearful. She absolutely refused to walk with me on leash, and get her habituated with my touch as well.

Today we just started our third session, and as you can see she's already doing much better! Of course, there's still some fear and anxiety, and she's not 100% comfortable with me petting her. However, her tail is in a relaxed position, and she at least tolerates me petting her. Overall, she's in a much better spot than she was last month! We're all so happy with the progress! 😁

June looking so beautiful in the spring flowers!

June previously had 3 other trainers before training with us, unfortunately the training didn't seem to stick with June but more importantly, it wasn't taught to the family well enough to the point where they could easily understand it.

We're pleased to say that is in the past! Not only were we able to get June to reach a higher standard, but more importantly her family is now confident and comfortable with the training and are thrilled with the progress we've made!

We're so proud of them! 🐶 ❤️

Look how far they have come! Congratulations Junior on graduating our canine obedience program! This sweet boy has come a really long ways and so has his parents! The sweet boy had a tendency to knock over people and get way too excited anytime he saw another person or dog. However, after our training we were able to successfully walk in around a busy afternoon at Zilker Park and he successfully maintained his obedience! I'm so proud of all of them!

This is some good info! I have so many clients talk about how quickly their shy or energetic dogs calm down around me and that's because when introducing yourself to a new dog, it's best to remain calm and ignore them!

Engaging with an energetic dog is only encouraging that behavior and pushing yourself onto a shy dog is only causing them more discomfort and pushing them away!

What a great story!

Meet Ms Polly and Snoop Dog. Their parents are really good friends, however, Ms Polly can be quite timid with new dogs and Snoop Dog can be quite aggressive towards other dogs. It took some time, however we were able to get these two able to walk with each other with no issues in only a few sessions!

As more time progresses they'll become best friends, it only takes some effort and a little patience!
