Taking Sammy to Zilker Park to show off how well he can do around major distractions and no leash!
First walk with Daisy in public!
Such great progress made with this sweet girl! This is Daisy, her parents adopted her a couple months ago and were having issues with aggression and fear towards their other dog and their sons.
On our first two sessions, we first had to get Daisy acclimated to a leash, as she's only ever been in a harness, and didn't exactly do too well on her harness.
We also had to get her acclimated with me, as she was quite fearful. She absolutely refused to walk with me on leash, and get her habituated with my touch as well.
Today we just started our third session, and as you can see she's already doing much better! Of course, there's still some fear and anxiety, and she's not 100% comfortable with me petting her. However, her tail is in a relaxed position, and she at least tolerates me petting her. Overall, she's in a much better spot than she was last month! We're all so happy with the progress! 😁
Heel with Calvin
Meet Calvin! After just one session we were able to get this boy much more manageable on leash!
He's starting to get his happy reactivity towards other dogs under control, and much more importantly, no more pulling! As you can see here, after just working with him for 30 minutes, I was able to hold the leash with just one finger. Great work Calvin! ❤️
Poncho
Poncho showing off his skills in public! This boy loves meeting new people and dogs so this was particularly challenging for him!
Bucks new recall!
Today we get to work on Buck's new, but also favorite command! The recall! This sweet boy has a really hard time coming back when he sees a deer, so this is an especially important command to teach him and his family!
Charlie toy
Charlie did so great on his outing to PetSmart the other day during his public training, that I decided to get him a toy!
His owner just sent me this, and apparently that toy is now his favorite toy! He's too cute! 😂🐾
Foster first day of daycare!
Sunday funday! Avacyn taking a break from her obedience and showing off her treat catching skills! 🦴🐺
