Dwight & Otis are learning together and we’re utilizing using the 2 of them to learn off each other and follow through with what is being asked. Otis wants to please & Dwight is being sassy in doing what he wants when he wants, but seeing Otis getting all the rewards motivates him to follow suit.

experienced Yesterday! He did exceptionally well being the people LOVER he is, the first few dogs he saw got him a little excited but he settled down after a while. Did some sitting & watching along with a lot of walking around!

Dozer took on Scheels yesterday for session! He did wonderful after the initial excitement wore off! He was able to meet a few people while he sat nicely and tried to contain his excitement. He did a lot of watching & walking.

Oliver is really coming along with learning people aren’t as exciting as his mom or myself! Progress is being made each session either this handsome boy.

Moose 🫎during session today walked through D&B for 45minutes. Big deal? YES! He tends to be people reactive out of fear, terrified of anything with wheels & has never been inside a store. We had ZERO lunges, barks or growls. He let his mom and I talk to people without feeling like he needed to be protective. Give Moose some love in the comments & tell him good boy!

Benji & Maize have been working hard learning manners over the last month. They’ve made exceptional progress with Leave it, Stay, Come & not being as pushy for attention or treats!

Approx 1 year old Rottie Mix is looking for a home. Rescued from a euthanasia list.

She’s good with other dogs, kids and knows a few commands. Sit, stay, and good on a leash. She’s also good in a crate.

If you’re interested or know someone who is, I will connect you to who is currently taking care of her!

Home Depot trip with Oliver today! He did very well with all the people & dogs around. He was uncertain of the moving carts but got him to check it out a bit and build some extra confidence in himself. #bringer #britneyspringerspaniel

@mrbuttersbob took a stroll through D&B yesterday. He’s getting so much better about not trying to meet every person he sees. He even sat very nicely and let a little girl pet him without all the crazy attached! #corgi

Sometimes it’s the little wins in training that make the big picture look closer to reaching. Oliver was VERY uncertain of this weird thing in this super big busy store. But after few minutes he stood on it without jumping off and wagged his little happy tail. #britneyspringerspaniel

First steps of teaching a load up command, incorporating a sit & wait for the OK until Ruger is further along in training it’ll become automatic for him to wait to be released from a vehicle. Load up is a useful & sometimes extremely helpful command in general if you take your dogs places often. It’s an easy, few step command! #dogtraining #training #germanshorthairedpointer
