We always appreciate those influential dams and sires in our breeding program and right now we would all agree that Clarion It's My Party "Maria" is the most influential poodle currently in our program.

Maria's latest champion is Ch Clarion Party With Love "Zorro" she is also mother to GCH Clarion Party in the USA "Andrew" and CH Back To The Future "Mari". Beyond being a hilarious, quirky, athletic, sweetheart of a girl Maria is one that keep getting better with age as she has matured a bit. Lets not talk about how many pairs of reading glasses Ann lost when she was young due to her helping herself to them off her computer desk... When Zorro was about a year old I told my dad not to leave his glasses on the table next to his chair because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and well... it took less than 2 minutes of Zorro playtime... Dad learned...

Don't let Maria's small size fool you- this girl has no problem jumping up and pulling something delicious off the kitchen counter and if a chair is slightly pushed out she has no problem making herself at home on the kitchen table. As a puppy her name was Mad Bad Margarita Maria due to her propensity to get on Katherines kitchen table and drink her Margaritas...

Congratulations Maria on becoming a Top Producer she is so very very loved by us.

Tonight we had a board meeting after a 2 1/2 hour vet visit at OSU that required some discussion about next steps and where we wanted to go with our toy program. This impromptu meeting was right before I hit the section of the drive home that has terrible cell phone service so I pulled over and had this view for the hour plus discussion. Exciting things are happening and we have 48 hours to make some decisions 😂

Who's going to come with us to ride the Carousel Poodle? This historic carousel happens to be 5 minutes from Tiffany and Debra's house in Albany. We can't wait to visit her!

We are so fortunate to have fantastic vets, specialists and vet schools that we work with in California and Oregon. Today was a puppy wellness check for Kieran and I got to take the opportunity to take the team at Rivers Edge a basket of treats and a Thank You note.

Next time you take your dog to the vet bring them treats and say thank you to them! It’s such a hard job and the compassion and care they give is truly incredible.

Wow. Just Wow.

We are so humbled and grateful for the journey that has taken us all here. Six years ago Jean Treagus and Louise Cunningham crafted a breeding to CH Clarion Camelot Convergence that would lead us to today.

While Jean and Louise might have been the masterminds the hard work to make this breeding happen fell on Louise as shortly after Jean passed away and never saw the plan come to fruition.

Louise flew “Lizzie” UKCH Jaytor Jubilee time ShCM to California and after a short holiday in the US Lizzie and Louise flew home with babies on board. Louise bred, whelped and raised these special puppies and we are so grateful to her for the fantastic job she did. Louise raised this boy and handled him to his UK Champion title.

At the end of 2022 Louise put Sirius on the plane at Heathrow and sent him to San Francisco for a vacation in the US. Sirius took 2023 by storm bringing home a BISS from the classes at the Las Vegas Poodle Specialty and then went Winners Dog and Best Opposite S*x at the Poodle Club of America’s National Specialty to finish his Champion Title. Sirius then went on to enjoy the California sunshine and lifestyle. His next time in the ring? Open Dog class at Crufts 2024.

Winning the Open Dog class at Crufts with such a fantastic lineup exceeded all our expectations but to go on and win Breed we are still in shock over. Thank you to our team in the US and abroad that made this happen. Those that were at the show cheering, grooming, booking tickets and organizing dinner plans and those that stayed home to take care of things so we could go- we couldn’t have done it without you.

Yesterday Emmy and Mable were toy poodle ambassadors for the Columbia Poodle Clubs meet the breeds table at the Rose City Classic Dog Show! I finally got to see the new banner and just loved the leaping Presley on it!

page admins: did you know you can turn on moderation assist for pages and block people from posting comments with links in them?
