thy are just a few of the things that make this business special. Pet First Aid & CPR Certified, Insured, Bonded, with background checks available upon request. These items are important for your pet and for you. Ask yourself these questions: Who am I letting into my home? Is this person trustworthy? Have they done everything to insure my confidence in them? Whether you need regular care, vacation care or simply a day or night out- I have you covered with services tailored to your specific pet(s). About Me- The Professional

I have been working in the pet industry for 8 years. In this time, I have learned an incredible amount. I worked with a vet tech and entered the world of pet sitting. At the same time, I also worked for a pet supply store where I was trained in animal nutrition and behavior- this knowledge has served me well. I am pet First Aid and CPR Trained. I am also able to administer oral medication to pets. I would also be comfortable with injecting medications, although I have not needed to yet (with the exception of administering fluids to a cat with kidney issues). I have an incredible attention to detail which is necessary for this as their health depends on it. I will always alert the pet parent if I see something that is cause for concern. I can also do light grooming, including nails and tooth brushing as long as the pet is amenable to it. I have worked with cats, dogs, small animals, birds and fish. I have no restrictions on breed or size. My clients have ranged from Pugs to Great Danes and everything in between. I am extremely reliable- I realize that I am being counted on for the care of something highly important and I take that very seriously. Their comfort, safety and happiness are my priority. About Me- The Human

I live a quiet and peaceful life with my husband, and three dogs (aka- the loves of my life). I also volunteer for a local rescue. I was born and raised in Massachusetts. In April of 2018 we sold the house, packed up the pups, and relocated to North Carolina for my husband’s work. We have purchased a home in Goldsboro and this is where we will now call home. From a small town girl to a big city (yes, Goldsboro is big to me) it’s quite a change- but I’m always up for an adventure and I love it! My faith and spirituality are very important to me. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT A DEEP CONNECTION WITH ANIMALS OF ALL KINDS. THEIR SOULS SHINE THROUGH TO ME AND WHEN I AM WITH THEM I AM AT PEACE AND FEEL NOTHING BUT JOY- THIS IS WHAT I WAS MEANT TO BE DOING. Why Choose Me? I realize you may have many options when it comes to pet care. Whether using a kennel or an online service, there are many considerations. Some pets are not comfortable in kennels or doggy day cares. They can be hard on dogs with anxiety or senior dogs with weakened immune systems. Many kennels will not administer medication. In addition to the exposure to viruses and bacteria, there are also the supervision unknowns. The hours are far more rigid, with specified drop offs and pickups. While this is a good option for some- it’s not for many. AS AN INDIVIDUAL BUSINESS OWNER AND EXPERIENCED PET SITTER THERE ARE MANY BENEFITS TO YOU. I AM NOT A “HOBBY” PET SITTER. THIS IS MY ONLY JOB- IT’S NOT FOR EXTRA MONEY OR SIMPLY BECAUSE I LOVE ANIMALS (OF COURSE I DO!) AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE “FUN”. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

* I can recognize signs of anxiety and illness in your pet and either address them or alert you to them. I understand that a wagging tail does not always mean a happy animal and that you have to read all the signs they give to get a clear picture of their disposition.

* On walks and visits I am constantly scanning for signs of trouble. Other animals we may encounter, people who are approaching, and what your dog is sniffing (is it an underground hornet nest or fire anthill?). Any pet sitter you hire should know what to do in the event of a dog fight or injury. They will happen- that's the job. I have been bit, stung, clawed and broken up scuffles. However, a ‘hobby’ sitter may not know how to handle these events at all and this could result in more harm to everyone.

* I am here to stay- so I can develop long term relationships that are built on love and trust between myself, you and your pet.

* I have taken the time to develop a business and take it very seriously. Getting CPR & First Aid Certified and training with professionals. Getting Insured, Bonded and Background Checked. I have set up websites, pages, brochures and business cards. I have done research and am constantly educating myself. This is my life. How it Works

After you contact me we will set up a good time to do a ‘meet and greet’. It is important for me to meet your pet while you are present and get the lay of their land. Because every client is individual we will go over your pet’s detail together- it is usually about an hour and it is free of charge. If you are comfortable with our meeting I will then ask you to fill out a contract with additional details such as contact information, pet specifics, emergency contacts and vet information. Services

• Each visit is always followed up with a text (and pictures of your pets if you like) or journal notes to provide you with comfort and necessary information after every visit.

• Rates are per visit- Up to 4 Pets within 6 miles of Violeta Circle 27534, each additional mile is $1 if schedule permits. Dog Walking- 30 Minutes/ $18 Per Visit

Feeling a little down about leaving your furry buddy all day? A tired dog is a well behaved dog- so let me come and get your buddy some exercise. Stretch those legs, do some sniffing and take care of business! A water and hydration check is always done. Food, snacks, administer medication and anything else which is specified per their needs. You can book regular visits or just as needed- I am always happy to see them! Drop In’s- 30 Minutes / $18 Per Visit

Is your pup not a big fan of cruising the neighborhood and would rather step out and then just play? Or do you have a cat, bird, fish or other small critter that needs care? This is the service for you. Replenish and clean food/water bowls, light brushing, play time, clean litter boxes, administer medication and anything else which is specified per their needs. Vacations / $18

Maybe you don’t need me regularly but are planning a trip? Your fur buddy will be so happy to stay in the comforts of home and I will provide multiple 30 minute visits per day to make them happy! While you are away I will also water plants, take in mail, alternate lights and curtains, take out trash and keep an eye on anything else you may need. Holiday’s

I am able to do holiday walks, drop in’s and vacations. Please note there is an additional $5 fee per visit on the following days: Easter Sunday, Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day. At this time, I do not provide overnight stays in your home or mine, nor do I do boarding.

Sooooo important to read!

Sooooo important to read!

One thing ALL trainers can agree on is NO ON LEASH GREETINGS.

Here's just a handful of reasons why:

Most owners are not skilled enough to read body language. A wagging tail DOES NOT mean a dog is friendly.

"He just wants to say hi." So what? Even if that is the case... You're going to reward your dog that's pulling you over to another dog or human with exactly what they want?

Even if your dog is friendly, they do not. I repeat. Do not need to greet every person and dog they meet. Period.

It's really unnatural for dogs to greet each other in the face. When Dogs are introduced at my ranch, they have off-leash, freedom and two whole acres to greet or not greet each other.

Dogs being forced to meet on a leash have no way out. The leashes are tense which builds anxiety and they will feel the need to defend themselves or react.

More often than not, most dogs actually need to learn proper socialization. They need to be engaged with you while ignoring other people and dogs not the other way around.

It takes less than a second for things to go wrong. If they do, most owners don't know how to stop a dog fight. This is also a great way to make your dog extremely leash reactive or get yourself or the dogs injured.

We don't tell you this because we don't want your dog to have friends. We're telling you this because there's much better ways to go about doing this. Your dog should have solid training and engagement with you BEFORE worrying about "making friends."

We have not seen temps like this in a LONG while - Please bring your dogs and cats inside to a warmer area- garage or shed.
If you seriously just can't do that then To keep a pets interior warm, a shelter must trap the animals' body heat. If the shelter is too large, the animals' body heat will struggle to keep the space warm. Place the shelter on a brick platform, a pallet, or something else to hold it off the ground.
Don't use blankets during the rain - they get wet. Use straw, hay or bark chips. Please don't let your outside pets suffer. ( And yes some dogs do like outside but these temps are gonna be more than they can handle) LOVE your pet enough. If you see an outside dog suffering please call your local Animal Control for a welfare check .
