Evacuation Preparedness
A go-bag should be easily accessible and filled with the items you need to evacuate your home quickly and safely. It needs to have enough supplies to last at least three days but should have enough to last seven days. Find out what goes into a go-bag and how to put one together in our "Fire Adapted Communities: The Next Step in Wildfire Preparedness" guide at bit.ly/FACGuide.

Remember, just because they are illegal it doesn't mean people will follow the law!

Keep your dog safely secured over the long weekend and make sure they have identification and are microchipped in case they do get out.

If your dog has a known fear of fireworks, keep them leashed during the long weekend.

Stay safe 🐾🐾

Fireworks are never allowed in Tahoe. Especially with a drought year, we need to be extra cautious to protect Lake Tahoe. Also no wood burning fire pits or charcoal BBQs. Stay safe Tahoe.
