It is almost time for our daughter's wedding!! I have had the honor and privilege to make lots of things for her wedding including her dress! There is so much history and story behind the making of her dress! I will be posting about that in an album soon. Rachel Dodsworth I am so excited about your wedding!!

Royal & Mocha's Adventures outfits are finished! They are not in the wedding, but will be attending with us!! I of course chose fox themed outfits to go along with the theme of the wedding in the forest! These were designed using Sofi & Friends Party Animal Dress pattern. I modified the bodice to make a harness vest for Royal.

The fox themed ring bearer pillow by Rags to Riches Designs is now finished! Royal and Mocha give their approval! The quilt block center is made from fabrics from the dresses for the wedding using the Fox Quilt block pattern by Healy Designs.

I have been finishing up things for our daughter's wedding! My mother of the bride dress is finished! We have always enjoyed wearing mother/daughter dresses so I did make mine in the same style on the bodice, with the matching fabric to her bodice inset. The appliqued sheer fabric and lace flowers are from my mother's wedding gown. The floral trim on the inset is from my wedding gown. The flower centers are buttons from my Mom's wedding gown. The three flowers meet in the center representing the bond between the three generations. Rachel loved my Mom very much growing up. We wish she was still with us to join in the celebration. We are honoring her in Rachel's and my dress. We both love butterflies so I added the butterfly applique to the back of each of our dresses. The wedding is only 2 weeks away! I can't wait to see Rachel Dodsworth walk the aisle in the dress I designed for her!

Saturday was a great day for Rags to Riches Designs!!! Our friends Lenny & Lexie won first place in their SCOOBY DOO themed outfits Fred and Daphne! Our friends Misty and Noel won 1st place in their Barbie & Ken beachwear! Royal and I won 3rd place in our Mary Poppins and Bert costumes!!

LOOK at our friends as the Scooby Gang! They won today!! I am so honored to have made Lenny and Lexie’s costumes for this event!! Their family looks amazing!! Be sure to CONGRATULATE them and follow them on fb!!

Well the Scooby gang took the win at the Seaside Halloweener Derby Costume contest, don't mind Lexie she is a little star stuck having met Russell Brand 🤩

This is another outfit I made for Lily Rose's wardrobe! This pattern is called Baby Isla by Simple Life Pattern Company. I just thought this was adorable! I purchased it several years ago, but I don't work with knit fabrics often so I never tried to make it. I am posting this today in honor of Isla who was born on this day, but was only on this earth for a few short hours due to congenital heart disease (CHD). Remembering Isla and Heather Kinnear today. Keeping their family in my thoughts and prayers. Happy heavenly birthday Isla!
