About "Aunt Kitty"
With a name like Kitty, I was destined to be a pet lover. I have never lived without one, two, four or six critters underfoot from the time I was born. In fact, I learned to walk by holding on to Freckles, my patient and loving red cocker spaniel.
I adore ALL animals from dogs, cats, birds, and fish to goats, rabbits, horses and pretty much any animal with fur, fins or feathers. Fortunately I have had the pleasure of being “owned” at one time or another by all of the above.
As the mom to several very spoiled cats, I realize the joy, peace and happiness that being a pet guardian brings. I love nothing more than to wake up with several kitties on the bed, (or on my face) or seeing their sweet little faces looking up when it’s feeding time.
But cats aren’t my only pet passion. In fact, for fifteen years, I lived with Elvis Pugsley. He was quite the life of the party and the cutest Pug ever. His best friend was Benny the French Poodle. We called them “Bat Man and Robin.”
Next there was Seamore the Cockatoo and Matilda the Love Bird. Seamore loved to bark like Pugsley and enjoyed dropping food off his perch to feed the dogs. Matilda loved watching all the action. Then there were Tweets and Tweeters, two adorable cockatiels who could do a mean rendition of “Mary Had A Little Lamb.”
Recently I have taken my expert knowledge of cats to the next level by creating a TV pilot for my own show called “Cat Talk With Kitty.” As a published author, my next book will be a humorous look at “The Cat Lady for the New Millennium.”
I have dedicated much of my life to animals and, in the process, I have learned so much about the care and well-being of animals.
I am involved in managed feral cat programs and kitty foster care. What could be more fun than bottle-feeding baby dogs and cats? Yes, I do that too. Fundraising and marketing are also passions of mine and I have devoted time to raising money for various animal organizations. I have also helped market major pet events.
What qualifies me most to be a pet sitter is the fact that I am 100% dependable and will go the extra mile for your pet while you are away. I have been pet sitting for most of my life, the reason I do this is because I LOVE animals and adore the time I spend with them. Nothing makes me happier than caring for a beloved pet.
When I come into your home, my full attention is on your pets. We will play, walk, have food and treats, and you will get a daily written report on our time together. I will also keep a keen eye on your pet for any change in health. I am a mature and responsible person who you can trust with your babies. What to Expect From Our Visits With Your Babies
From the moment we open the door to your home, our attention is on your pet. We talk to your babies, and play and interact in a fun and reassuring way with each pet. Of course we have a keen eye out for any changes to their health or stress about your absence.
We will make sure to locate and check on all pets, even the shy ones who hide at each visit. We are experts on finding pets who hide in the strangest places. We don’t leave until we find them.
We will take a look around the house to make sure all is well and safe and then we will provide food, water, litter cleaning, pet clean-up, etc.
We let the dogs play, romp, interact with the Frisbee or play tug with their rope. We provide lots of hugs, love, kisses and belly rubs, too.
You can also rest assured that we will do whatever chores around the house that we have agreed upon at each visit as well.
We Keep In Touch While You’re Away
There’s never a need to worry about how your pet is doing because we will text you photos and a note about what your babies are up to after each visit. You can call anytime you like as well. We are happy to talk to you about your pet.
Our goal is for you to have a worry free trip, and for your pets to have a fun, safe stress-free time with us.

In Home Pet Care
In home pet care keeps your pet safe and secure while you are away. It provides fun, love, reassurance, tons of TLC.
COSTS:
30 minute visit within 10 miles. Additional charge for longer commutes. We don’t charge by the number of pets; however, if you have more than 4 pets, we may need to schedule additional time which will be an additional charge.
Rates start at $20.00. An additional $5.00 per visit on holidays.
Daily Fun and Potty Break Service
This is the perfect service for pet parents who work long hours or have many daily activities. Gone is the stress of rushing to get home in time for potty breaks and the guilt of crating your babies for too long. Your pets with love the extra TLC and a romp in the fresh air!
This is the perfect service for puppies or young pets that get bored, or doggies that suffer from being away from mom and dad all day.
Older dogs love it too and appreciate the more frequent potty breaks (with a little belly rub thrown in!).
Visits customarily are 20 minutes long. Many clients choose this service daily, but we are happy to customize this service to your pet’s needs.

Overnight Slumber Party With Your Pet
We will arrive at your home in the evening, and pamper your pets until the morning. No need to crate your baby if she loves to snuggle all night. We love to cuddle, too! All potty breaks, feedings, walks and home care are included through the following morning.

Dog Walks, Kitty Pampering, and Bird Play Time
Dogs love the great outdoors! Nothing is more exciting for doggies than a walk in the park, exploring all the sights and sounds. A good walk is great exercise and is good for their health, weight control and general well-being. Why not let us give your special pup or pups a daily walk when you don’t have the time, or can’t be available to take your dog or dogs for a stroll?
Walks are customized to your dog’s, age, breed and specific needs. We want to make sure that it’s the highlight of their day when you are away, and always a fun experience. We will also tailor a walk keeping in mind the weather, especially in the hot summers.
Cats crave extra attention too! Many cats are very social and require extra daily TLC. Cats can get lonely when left alone all day.
Why not give your kitty a special treat of TLC time daily while you are busy at work? Each visit includes playtime, brushing for kitties that like it, lots of kisses and scratches in their favorite places, and a treat if you like.
Birds We also love your feathered friends. Many birds are highly intelligent and get bored easily. We can stop in to interact with you bird, too! We love giving him or her a much-appreciated dose of fun and TLC during your busy week.
Pet Taxi Service
We are happy to pick up and deliver your babies to a grooming appointment or a vet visit. This is a great service for busy pet parents who can’t break away from work, or simply don’t have the time.

Please know that if your pet appears to be unwell or injured, or overly stressed by your absence, we will contact you immediately or seek immediate veterinary attention from your vet. We are happy to add visits if you feel we need to. Your pet’s well-being and health are our first priority.

Policies
What to Expect at the Meet and Greet
We love meeting with new clients and new pet babies. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know you and your pet, and the best part is this is FREE! We want to know every detail that will keep your pet happy while you’re away. We’ll also determine if we are a good fit. During our first visit, we will create your Client Profile, Pet Profile, Service Agreement and go over our Cancellation Policy.
A copy of your house key must be provided, along with payment in full, prior to the commencement of services.
Payment
Payment is due in advance of services.
Cancellations
We understand that things can change, but please understand that when you book with us, we are giving that block of time to you and your pet. Therefore, we cannot refund for early returns or last-minute cancellations. Please give us 5 days notice if your plans change.
For You and Your Pets Safety
No one but Aunt Kitty’s should be permitted in your home for the care of your pet during the time we are servicing your pets. This is for the safety of your home and for the best care for your pets. Failure to comply will result in breach of contract.
(This is necessary for insurance purposes.)
Minimum Visits
Kitties must be visited no less than every 24 hours, however we recommend 2 visits a day. Dogs must be visited no less than every 12 hours, although we strongly recommend 3 visits a day. We want your babies to be comfortable, healthy and happy at all times during your absence. Sorry, no exceptions will be made to this policy.
